About the site

Family run and family friendly, this 14-acre holiday park is located in the Isle of Wight National Landscape, surrounded by wildlife, countryside views and easy access to the white sands of Shanklin Beach, Sandown Beach and Ventnor Beach, all less than 20 minutes away. Set on the outskirts of Wroxall village, the site was also originally part of the grounds of the historic Appuldurcombe House! Split across three sections, the site offers grass pitches for tents and tourers, hardstanding touring pitches and a handful of fully serviced grass and hardstanding pitches, all with 10 amp electric hook ups and picturesque upland views of the Stenbury Downs. There are also a large number of static caravans in a walled orchard, as well as two well-furnished lodges. Onsite, enjoy an outdoor heated swimming pool, a miniature crazy golf course and a bar/cafe for a tasty meal (facility opening times vary). If you're a keen cyclist or hiker, make sure to take advantage of the many footpaths and cycleways within minutes of the site, including the Red Squirrel Trail, less than a ten minute walk. For days out, there's plenty nearby! Start with Model Village Godshill (5 minutes), then head to Amazon World Zoo Park (10 minutes), Robin Hill (15 minutes), or Blackgang Chine Theme Park (20 minutes) for family adventures. The site can also assist with booking your ferry, offering access to discounted ferry packages. Four-legged friends are welcome, but please check with the hosts before booking. BBQs are welcome onsite. No campfires, sorry.

Onsite there are three free toilets and shower blocks (one by reception, one near the pool, and the other on the edge of the camping field) with hand dryers and hair dryers, a washing up area and an access-friendly shower room. You will have access to a free freezer pack facility and a launderette equipped with coin-operated washing machines, dryers, and irons.

There is a children's play area, a four-hole crazy golf course, a football pitch, and an outdoor sheltered heated swimming pool. Other amenities include The Core, a licensed bar and cafe serving light snacks and alcoholic refreshments with a lounge area. Please note that all facility opening times vary, and they are not open before May or after mid-September. Free WiFi is available onsite.

Guests receive discount ferry packages for the Red Funnel ferry company when booking. If you need to stock up on essentials, walk ten minutes to Central Supermarket Wroxall. For bus routes, Appuldurcombe bus stop is a five minute walk away.

Our holiday park is situated within the valley of the Stenbury Downs. We love being here as we are surrounded by the open country site and all the wildlife.

We are an ideal spot for bird watching, horse riding or golfing, we are also a superb base for walkers and cyclists, as you can access footpaths and cycleways within minutes. We provide a tranquil area in the meadow for relaxing, picnicking, nature watching and recreational activities

Onsite activities include swimming in the outdoor pool, relaxing at the bar and café, playing miniature crazy golf and watching the wildlife. The Red Squirrel Trail dog friendly hiking trail is less than a ten minute walk.
