Welcombe X Caravanning, Camping & Glamping, Bideford, Devon

Welcombe X is a small family-run camping, glamping and touring site situated on the A39 Bideford to Bude road, right on the border between North Devon and Cornwall. In addition to the pitches, there's also a static caravan, gypsy wagon and 4-berth touring caravan for hire. Golden beaches, the South West Coast Path and other attractions are all within easy reach.

About the site

Welcombe X is a caravan site on the border of North Devon and Cornwall, between Bude and Bideford. Grass camping and touring pitches include 16-Amp electric. A nautically themed static caravan and 4-berth touring caravan are also available for hire. For glampers, there's also a romantic bow top gypsy wagon and a tempting shepherd's hut. Guests are welcome to bring their dogs and groups can be catered for.

Open from 9 April to 15 November.

The site is just two miles from rugged Welcombe Mouth on the South West Coast Path, while, the golden surfing beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay are 8 miles away.

You are also near many other beaches such as Bucks Mills, Speaks Mill, Welcombe Mouth and Duckpool! Why not take a ramble on the South West Coast Path?

The Milky Way and The Big Sheep are both within a short drive, as is the pretty and historic fishing village of Clovelly.

Dartmoor is a forty minute drive away.
