Fantastic little site Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Ewes Water Caravan Park is located within Langholm Rugby Club grounds.
We were lucky enough to arrive on a day when Langholm were playing at home. We watched the match and had a beer from the clubhouse bar, which was very reasonably priced. Although it stayed open until around 11pm, there was absolutely no noise to disturb us. It has 3 drinking water stations, with rubbish bins, and 1 waste area to put your grey water and chemical toilet waste.
You don't have too far to walk into Langholm itself, which is a very picturesque little town. We walked in to have lunch at one of the cafes. The food was good, and again, very reasonably priced (Pelosi's Corner Cafe). There's around 25 pitches for caravans, camper vans, motorhomes and tents.
Loved our stay and we will return soon.
Excellent value for money Recommends site

Very quiet site Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 This site is off a main road in a valley, but after 7pm it is very quiet. Langholm village is a 10min walk away.
The site is very clean and even though we are close to the season ending, it is in great condition. Facilities were great, with everything you'd need.
Whitshields café is right next door, we had a great breakfast and it's good value. All in all a great site.
Ideal location and improved facilities Recommends site

Easy to find Recommends site
Motorhome - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Ewes Water, as in the name of a Rugby Club. Easy to find.
A very clean, well managed site. Showers totally brilliant, as are toilets. Grass kept short, easier to keep clean and dry.
Nice little site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 A lovely little site. It's more of a caravan type site, but it was clean, had nice facilities and level pitches. There was a perfect café for breakfast just up the road.
Can't be improved Recommends site
Twin Axle Caravan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Just back from 14 days and have had time to study what could be improved, and try as I might I can't find anything. Breeze's "Uncle Michael" visited her every day despite him being busy with site chores.
Dave and Kerrie have this site up and running as it should be, on a professional basis and should be proud of their efforts. Will be back in April 2025.
Cheap as chips with steak on the side Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Stayed at Ewes Water overnight, little gem of a site. Facilities were very clean despite the site appearing full for the night.
Nice walk into Langholm, few pubs and places to eat. Stopped off at small cafe, first bite when travelling home, best scones ever tasted. Coffee wasn't too bad either. Will definitely be back, well worth the money.

Very relaxing site Recommends site
Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Everything as described on site advert. Great location, excellent mix of tents, tourers, vans, not separated like some sites. Facilities on site are impeccable, cleaned regularly by a singing lady. Bar staff happy to help with ice blocks. Michael generally floating about if anything is required. Even got to watch some Eggball.
The dark skies are brilliant and the wildlife frequent. The noise from the bridge can give you a start, but once you get used to it, it's fine. The local village has everything you need and the local community are very welcoming and helpful.
Peaceful Recommends site
Motorhome - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Lovely site ideally situated on outskirts of Langholm. Lovely walk into town via field and lane. First Bite a must coffee stop Good, clean and modern facilities. Excellent value for money.

Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Great site in an excellent location and great facilities - the toilets and showers are very well maintained and it’s only a short walk into Langholm itself. Everyone was very friendly and respectful of the quiet hours after 10pm. Will definitely be back! :)

Quiet and clean campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Nice sized campsite with good facilities. Toilets are modern and kept very clean. Excellent powerful shower that you don't have to pay extra for. Two indoor washing up sinks for washing up in the warm and dry. Very good value for money. Easy to find and walkable distance into Langholm. A café nearby for if you don't want to cook breakfast in your tent.
The camping field isn't right next to the toilet block so there is a small walk, this wasn't a problem for us but it is something to consider. It could use facilities for freezing freezer blocks. There is a bridge on the way in to the campsite that sounds like a rumble of thunder as it is crossed. Usually it is only an occasional car passing over it, but on rugby training nights, there was approximately 30 cars crossing it in quick succession, which wore a bit thin. Be aware of this if you're staying in a tent, particularly.
