About the site
The site acts as a base for keen hikers looking to spend their days walking through Scotland's countryside and provides an interesting array of activities. There are wild camping pitches for tents only. There's also a mix of non electric and electric grass pitches for both campers and tourers alike, as well as electric hardstanding pitches for tourers only. In addition to these, you'll also find 16 bell tents, each sleeping up to three, with either a double bed and a single bed or three singles. These beds will either be camp beds or air beds. Or, there is one shepherd's hut sleeping up to two with a double bed, a TV and a wood burning stove for cosy evenings. There is also a sink and a water tap. There are even rooms in a chalet and hotel rooms available! Pets are welcome to join you.
