Warm welcome on arrival. Plenty of information and details provided when enquiring about local area. First small site we have stayed on and so much nicer than larger sites. The owners were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities immaculately clean, nice showers. Enjoyed so much, stayed an extra night. Highly recommend, we intend to return.

Having reluctantly agreed to my husband's request to camp in Cornwall for our summer holiday I was delighted to find a campsite willing to accommodate our 4 dogs. Upon arrival, we were met by Kellie with a really useful information pack, shown to our pitch (we were given a choice of two). Tent was erected and it was almost time for the weekly visit of Kernow Pizza to cater for those wanting freshly made pizza. The Peg & Mallet bar is open 5 days a week (except Sunday & Wednesday), great value and good selection of drinks. Showers and washing facilities are really well thought out and kept spotlessly clean. Lots of drinking water taps throughout the site. The dog pen is an excellent idea and was regularly used (with the provision that dogs are not left unaccompanied) everybody was great at 'picking up' and there were quite a few campers with two or more dogs (mostly team Labrador!). This site is well located for the small ports and beaches on the South Coast (some real hidden gems for dog walks off the lead). We spent 2 days exploring Newquay (Fistral Beach is busy but well-organised and has parking right next to the bay). We also visited Towan Beach and the two adjoining bays. Holywell Bay was the choice find, parking in the NT car park (free for members or £4 for up to 4 hours). Newquay is approximately 20 minutes away. I don't know what Kellie & Craig have planned for improvement but I don't think there's much room to do it any better than they already do! Well done Kellie & Craig hopefully we will get back again soon.

You couldn't want more from a site. Lovely, quiet location with stunning views. Off lead dog area, small but perfectly formed, generous pitches with water taps close by. Great washing-up area, great showers, and even a bar. The owners could not be more friendly and accommodating and work blooming hard on the campsite and it shows. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will be back and we will make sure we tell everyone we know about this campsite.

Very pretty, small but perfectly formed campsite. Owners are very friendly people that love dogs. Facilities were always kept beautifully clean. There are only 2 loos and 2 showers in each block, but we get up fairly early and only once was there someone else in there at the same time as me. The local pub isn't great for walking to, but nice pub food and well attended by locals, which is always a good sign. Well situated for Heligan, Eden and only a short trip to North Coast if you prefer the sandier beaches. Lovely.

Kellie and Craig were excellent hosts, the site is extremely clean and well looked after and cared for. The bar is a lovely touch, which we enjoyed, and the washing and toilets were extremely clean. On the penultimate day we asked to stay a little longer, luckily the pitch we were on was free for the following day and Kellie was very happy to accommodate the request, which was fantastic as we could then spend one final day on the beach. We would certainly like to stay again. Thank you Craig and Kellie! Have a great summer season.

What a little gem. Had been wanting to visit Cornwall for a while and found Tremarne via this website. The site was small but was not lacking. Kellie and Craig were ideal hosts. They were helpful and friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The site is ideally located for exploring the countryside and located outside St Austell. The on-site bar is great for socialising with fellow campers in the evening. We've already booked for next year.

We absolutely loved our time at Tremarne. The showers and loos are excellent - modern and spotless, with plenty of hot water all the time. The dishwashing area was also really good. The owners are extremely welcoming and around to chat to everyone. Because it's such a small and friendly site I think it encourages everyone to leave everything in good order and clean up after themselves. The location is excellent with so much to see in a short distance, but also not far to travel either to north or west Cornwall. We really can't fault the site and would definitely stay again in the future.

Great location for St Austell, Eden project etc, in a quiet rural location. Really nice pitches with trees, rabbits, birds and cows around. Toilets are super clean and modern, with great showers and all modern appliances. There's a bar onsite and outdoor washing-up sinks… the owner is great and very helpful… he told us of the best locations to visit, where to park and the best pubs etc- a great guy. I'd go again, no problem.

Would definitely recommend this campsite, Craig was very welcoming and gave us a good insight into what was nearby, pointing us towards some good places to eat and visit during our stay! The campsite was so clean and well looked after, you can tell that the owners really care and pride themselves on the service they provide! We really liked the fact there was an on-site bar run by the owners, was such a good homely feel! The campsite's location is really central to most places, 5 minutes drive from supermarkets and the nearest towns, even excursions like the Eden Project and the gardens of Helligan weren't too far away! We will 100% be returning in the future! Thank you for a fabulous few days!
