Beckses Caravan Park is a small, family run site situated within the glorious Lake District National Park. The park is well placed, offering a quiet base, within a ten minute drive of Aira Force Waterfall and Ullswater, great for watersport lovers. You'll find a selection of tent and touring pitches, along with cosy glamping pods with heating and electric. Both families and dogs are welcome, with plenty of beautiful walks right from your base!

Peaceful place. Stayed over Easter bank holiday. Perfect location to get to other places. Not far from Pooley Bridge or Keswick. Also, not too far from Ambleside and Windermere. No issues whatsoever and had a small play park. Perfect for all types of people.

We chose Beckses Caravan Park as a base for a hiking weekend, and we stayed in one of their glamping pods... it didn't disappoint! The pod was spacious and very clean. The kettle and microwave were a welcome bonus, as was parking next to the pod. The shower block and toilets were exceptionally clean, and well maintained. Overall, it was a great experience for a great price! I will be booking again soon, and I would definitely recommend it 👍

Only started using your site since ceasing membership with one of the main brands and pleased to say I have found more freedom with the likes of these little gems. This site is a great little find. Peaceful yet close enough to a pub and to the main sites of Keswick and surrounding areas. If planning a climb up Blencathra then this site is a must as a stop over as you can see sharp edge from the site on a clear day and only 3 minutes from the start of the climb. Will defo use again as our 2 night stay in April was a spur of the moment so will use this when available in the Summer and Autumn months. Check in easy and on-site staff extremely friendly too. Thank you 🙏 to the team of staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at the site. It's in a lovely location. There is a great pub nearby which serves food. You can easily catch the bus either outside the pub or at the end of the road for easy access to Keswick or Penrith. The facilities were fine, everything you could need.

The glamping pod was great and the photos are a true representation. The site was peaceful and well maintained, with friendly staff and clean washing facilities.

A good little site. The weather didn't help, causing the grass to be very wet and muddy. The hard standing pitches needed new stones and a general tidy up in places. New paint etc. would improve it, but the facilities were clean enough for our short stay.

Just had a beautiful 3 nights stay. It's very late in the year and still had the laundry room showers and toilets open and staff still working to keep the site clean and tidy. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to the need to use the internet for work purposes. Will definitely visit again 😁

Easy, no frills campsite. Exactly what we needed for an excellent price. Easy to find just off the A66, good distance from Keswick and Penrith equally, facilities lovely and clean. The shower, if anything, was a little too hot! That's not a complaint I have very often from a campsite but I'd rather that than the other way round! Fairly quiet surroundings as well, which was nice, although a tiny amount of road traffic heard at times. Closest pub was a 15 minute walk away by roads which served lovely food (Herdwick Inn). No shops that we could find within walking distance so got our supplies from Keswick on our way in. Loved our stay here.

Excellent location for exploring the Lakes. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were very good and spotlessly clean. We look forward to our next stay!

Quiet campsite, between Keswick and Penrith. Close to the main road, but we never noticed any real noise. Facilities were good, 2 toilet blocks, 1 slightly more modern than the other. Washing up area with laundry facilities. Clean and adequate. We went off season so it felt a little low on energy, but that was to be expected. Decent value, and the reception greeting was friendly and efficient.

Very quiet and peaceful site. We walked to the local pub that served really nice food. The only negative is you had to walk on the road, but it was quiet enough, and we took torches for the walk back as it was late! Campsite was lovely. All facilities really clean and organised. Showers lovely, hot and constantly cleaned. We also drove to the waterfall walk which is 15 mins away. Really good location for Ullswater.

A gorgeous, quiet location for a wholesome weekend away from the chaos of city life! Only a 20 minute drive from Glenridding to hike Helvellyn. We knew we were arriving late on the evening but were given instructions of were we would be camping so had no issues when we arrived. Very clean facilities and peaceful, we will definitely stay again!

We just got back from a weekend stay in the pods here. Absolutely amazing, had everything needed and heating - great value for money. We can't wait to book back up here and explore Keswick next.

Beckses Caravan Park is a lovely little quiet site. We had a lovely restful time. Our little dog loved the dog walk. There is no little shop on site but just a few miles away there is a little post office/shop selling all the essentials at Greystoke. The shower/toilet and washing up facilities were very clean and the water temperatures were as they should be. Lovely farm shop just down the road, very worth a visit.

We loved our two night stay in the wooden pod. The facilities at the site were extremely clean and the staff were very friendly. Only a short drive into Keswick and easy reach to the fells, the location was ideal for us to explore the area.

Good location close to attractions and local towns. Noise from the A66 is quite noisy during the day. Pod was very clean on arrival, toilets and showers were spotless. It's a quiet site that seems to have a lot of site caravans and the children's park is a bit dated. Had a nice two night break with my son, just what we needed.

Lovely, clean site at reasonable rates, but £4 per night for an awning? I feel that if you have paid for a pitch it should include the awning. A little road noise but a nice site in a good location.
