Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2025 The campsite was clean and spacious, we booked ten tents and enough space for accommodating our tents and dinning area.
The toilets and showers are clean and adequate for accommodate more people.
We had a very good time.

Very dog friendly. Very large site and despite it being a bank holiday it was quiet at bed time.

Free for all, lack of facilities Motorhome - Non Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 We booked to stay here for 2 nights after seeing fantastic reviews. We lasted 1 night and then left because it was just awful.
When you turn up, the pitches are a free for all, so if you go out for the day, you'll likely lose your pitch to someone else as we did.
There are hundreds of pitches and spread far and wide across the site, with one obvious toilet block in the centre and apparently one toilet block at the entrance, away from all the pitches. The queues for the toilet/showers and 2 washing up sinks were constant, no matter the time of the day (like being at a festival). The facilities couldn't keep up with the number of people, so the water kept running out and the pressure wouldn't even flush the toilet.
I attempted to shower late in hopes of this being better, but even so, the water pressure was so low, the water wouldn't even flow of the shower head, it just trickled down the wall. The toilets stank and were not clean at all.
Our pitch was opposite the toilet block so we frequently opened the door to the smell of sewage.
Not really any rules across the site so there were tonnes of fires and parties going on, so couldn't have the windows on the motorhome open because of the sheer amount of smoke and the obvious noise until very, very late.
People were driving back and forth to the toilet all hours and not being mindful of other campers by driving at speeds that aren't really acceptable on a family campsite. This meant there was constant flows of cars that were kicking up dust. Blows my mind that you would come to a campsite and drive back and forth everywhere anyway!
Really disappointing for us and just completely against what we think a camping holiday is about.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 A great campsite, excellent location, the facilities were very clean and there is an onsite shop.
Only down side was the toilet block, which couldn't handle the amount of people and the toilets were regularly not able to flush.
It is still a brilliant campsite and we will be back to visit!
Great atmosphere
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Lovely weekend, plenty of space to pitch. New facilities were good. On-site shop useful. Owners very friendly. Pizza wagon, bar and Annieās Caravan an excellent addition.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 I was in a nice flat and level field, others have a slight slope and were more popular as they had a great view.
Facilities brand new, great shower. Owners are nice people and really helpful. Rope swings popular with the the camping kits. Campsite suits all types of campers.
Great campsite, will no doubt choose it again on next visit to the Peak District.
1 night stay
Single Axle Caravan - Non Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Fine for one night. Friendly staff on arrival and appeared a relaxed approach.
Toilets and showers busy with queues at times. Later in the evening many toilets weren't flushing and some toilets had no toilet roll left.
Great campsite for rides/hikes
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Great campsite. It's made of multiple large fields and everyone is nicely spaced out.
Toilets and showers are the best I've seen on any campsite, but the water did cut off a couple of times - affecting showers, toilet flushes and sinks but drinking water and kitchen sink were unaffected.
It's a great location for bike rides and hikes. Stone cooked pizza on site and pubs/cafes about a 3km walk away.
Everyone adhered to the 11pm cut off for noise.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Awesome campsite, views are incredible! Its massive, so be prepared to hear other people also enjoying the site. Toilets are clean and showers are hot. Owner is lovely and chilled. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
Fab campsite!
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 We loved our stay, beautiful views, huge fields to pick your pitch, showers and toilets fab, pizza and another food van at weekends, blazing fire pits and amazing sunset.
Our son loved to rope swing and little tree path that leads to lots of imaginative adventures.
We will be back and have recommended to put mates.

Fantastic stay
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Our 17y daughter and her boyfriend stayed here for two nights in August. They had a fantastic time, walking in the day and they loved their fire pit at night toasting marshmallows.
They said the owners were so nice, and the facilities were really clean. Set in beautiful countryside. It was a great birthday gift for them. Very happy š

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 The site is brilliant, our first time camping in a long time and this was the perfect place to start with food trucks and a mobile bar at the weekend, so much space and choice of pitches.
The guys who run the site are fantastic, very friendly very helpful make you feel at home right away absolutely 5 stars.

Great views but needs more facilities
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Booked a last minute 2 night stay with our tent when the sun came out, so not much available. Huge site, plenty of space & could pitch in any of the various available fields.
Several with an incline but stunning views. Really friendly & welcoming owners, very relaxed. Looks like they've opened up new toilets & showers which were kept clean, but there just isn't enough for the amount of users on a busy weekend. Long waits for the showers, poor water pressure & toilets constantly getting blocked. There is another set of toilets & showers on the farm but they weren't clean & nobody used them.
Small shop selling wood, fire pits, sweets & a few other bits you might have forgotten.
Over the weekend, there was a van selling pizzas, very popular & reasonably priced, need to order quick as they sold out both nights. There was also a pop up bar & another pop up food van selling Greek food which seemed popular, they were also selling breakfast the next day.
Great location for walking in Lathkill Dale, not far from Bakewell or Monyash.
Advertised as having a children's play area - this is a couple of tyre swings in a bit of scrub forest. A field or a fenced off section with some goals or somewhere for the kids to congregate on an evening would be very welcomed.
Great campsite, friendly owners, reasonably priced but short on facilities & no play area would dissuade me from returning again.

The only negative for us were the showers. Quite a big queue in the morning and the water pressure was poor (presuming due to the demand due to how busy it was) although this wouldn't put us off returning again.

One night stay
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Excellent campsite, very friendly owners. Fully equipped for a Excellent stay with 2 small children, huge site with amazing scenery, food on site was delicious, toilets and showers immaculately clean.
Its very spacious and quiet at night. Very helpful owners he even jump started my car in the morning as the kids had drained the battery!! Strongly recommend and we'll definitely be back !
Lovely campsite Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Amazing views with great facilities.
Very busy though - was kept up by music and loud talking until 3am although my children were unbothered by it. Pizza wasn't great, lacked toppings and shop was very expensive.
