Hardstanding pitch

Beech Croft Farm Caravan and Camping Park offers the perfect break in peaceful countryside, at a small family run site which is gorgeously set between famous food - in Bakewell - and famous drink - in Buxton. Explore all the beauty of the Peaks from hardstanding pitches, each with electric, water and TV, plus three excellent camping fields. Walkers and cyclists will be in their element, thanks to the Pennine Way and Monsal Trail nearby.

We enjoy our stay here each year, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The facilities are amazing and really clean. The addition of the coffee shop has been a bonus alongside the shop you’re all set for your holiday! The staff always go above and beyond offering advice upon local walks, activities and eating places. It’s location is central for many beautiful walks. Buxton and Bakewell are at short drive away (we always visit Chatsworth too).

Fabulous site. All you could possibly need! Spotlessly clean toilets and showers - the cleanest we have ever seen on a site. Plenty of hot water too. Shower and toilet areas were warm and clean at all times. They smelt fresh too! The staff were super welcoming and friendly. Great area for the children, and also separate area for dogs to exercise. Fabulous location. Loved that you pay for EHU. We actually topped up too much so got refunded what we hadn't used. Great idea. We were surprised at how little the electricity cost, especially as we had our heater on quite a bit. A great site. 100% recommended.

Only one word describes this site. OUTSTANDING! Been a few times now, just me and my spaniels. The owners couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. The dog walk area is awesome, facilities spotless and pitches are lovely. The addition of the new coffee shop is fantastic, with mega breakfasts and cakes. Thank you Beechcroft, Annie (Quigley, Wally and roger 🐾)

We've stayed at Beech Croft many times throughout the year, it's definitely one of our favourites. What is there not to like? Friendly staff, spotless facilities, well stocked shop and on site cafe. Wonderful walks straight from the site, we love the walk into Tideswell and the walk to Buxton.

Wonderful family run campsite

This campsite is in a fab location in the heart of the Peak District, near the Monsal Trail and Chee Dale with lots of walks straight from the site. Lovely grounds with great amenities and friendly helpful staff. Had a wonderful breakfast at the on site cafe too. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a pleasant and tidy place to stay.

Excellent, friendly campsite with 5* facilities

This was our 4th stay at Beech Croft Farm and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The facilities are spotless, the pitches are generous and the staff super friendly. There are plenty of walks from the site and there is easy access to the Monsal Trail. The Church Inn at Chelmorton does excellent food and Daisy's Cafe on site is a great addition, especially for a cooked breakfast on your departure day! Will keep going back to what is now our favourite campsite in the Peak District!

We have stayed here several times, both camping & now as caravaners - as a result of being evacuated off the site we were on due to flooding! We got a very warm welcome when we arrived & had a lovely cheese & onion sandwich from Daisies Cafe. Absolutely fantastic site & a very friendly chicken 🐓

We stayed here for my birthday and had a lovely time. There's not a lot in walking distance but the directions provided to go over the hills to the nearest pub were great and the food there is really nice. The site itself is well kept and the toilets/showers are clean and modern. The only thing that I didn't like so much was not being able to pre book a particular pitch, you choose on arrival and a few people turned up before the official arrival time to do so (we arrived bang on time!). I think on a couple of the pitches, the water/electric was quite far away so I would recommend ensuring your cables are long enough. The café on site does lovely full breakfasts and there is a shop within reception that stocks a wide range of essentials. We hired a fire pit and this was really nice to sit around with the family, even the teenagers enjoyed it! We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

This is our go to campsite, if we're meeting friends in the area. Why? Because it's always reliable. The toilets are warm and clean. The new cafe is lovely. Check-in is friendly. You can normally spread out from your neighbours, so aren't disturbed by any noise. There are some lovely walks from the campsite. The only thing that would make it better would be a nice pub within easy walking distance, it's always a bit too far after a day of walking!! Campsite can't do much about that though!!

This is our favourite site in the Peak District, the staff are friendly and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The facilities are top notch and always maintained to a high level, the hard standing pitches are of a good size each with their own water tap as well as a TV point, there is a large dog walking field and a children's play area. The site is in a great location with great views and there are plenty of walks, some directly from the site itself so no need to take the car unless you really want to. Or you can just sit back and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

This is our tenth year camping, and once we found this jewel we have returned many times each year. The facilities are hard to beat and they just keep getting better, spotless shower blocks and washing up areas, laundry facilities, the camping barn with a drinks machine and microwave , new reception and shop and the addition of Daisies Cafe, and lovely friendly hosts.

We have stayed here on a number of occasions at various times of the year and every time we go it's amazing. The views are beautiful, the facilities are always spotless and not that it needs improving but it's also always being updated and improved. It's super close to the Monsal trail and about half way between Buxton and Bakewell. Highly recommended to all.

Great facilities and very clean loos. Great staff and beautiful setting, we are walkers so this site is ideally placed for us. It's also on the Monsal trail if you prefer cycling.

What a fabulous site, super clean facilities, super friendly staff/owners and superb views. We have been caravanning for over 20 years and this is our favourite site by far. Clean facilities even when the site is very busy. Fantastic play area for kids with room to play ball games and a great dog field where you can let you dog run free. The recent addition of the new reception/shop and Daisies coffee shop is also great. Plus, it's in a great location for Buxton, Bakewell, Tideswell and the Mondale trail. There's a bus stop at the end of the road if you want to go to town by bus and a supermarket ten minutes drive away. Just all round perfection.

Fantastic family friendly farm!

We absolutely love it at Beech Croft Farm and have been going each year for a good few years now! The facilities are excellent- the showers are always lovely and warm. Everything is spotless! Everyone is so kind, welcoming and helpful. The shop and cafe are very handy! My children enjoy the park and fields nearby, but their favourite thing has to be the goats - they spend hours watching and feeding them. Every time we’ve been we’ve enjoyed a good nights sleep as everyone seems to observe quiet times. There’s so much to do close by - although we often enjoy the tranquility of the setting and simply enjoy spending time together as a family relaxing. We can’t wait to visit again this year! I definitely think this site offers value for money and is suited for all ages!

We have stayed at this site a few times, it is one of our favourites. Set in a beautiful, peaceful location with great facilities. The toilet/shower block is clean and spacious. There are two different play areas for children, my son loves visiting the site goats! Staff are friendly and welcoming and the site has a small shop with basics. We are looking forward to trying the new café when we visit again.

Lovely campsite and location with stunning views, family run and they are friendly and the facilities are first class, clean and well kept. John is always around keeping the site in tip top condition and has always got time for a friendly chat. We wouldn't stop anywhere else in Derbyshire.

The children loved the freedom of the park and seeing the goats. Great dog walking field and wonderful local walks. This was the most relaxing site that I've ever been to. The view was fantastic. Will definitely book to go again.
