About the site
Set in the peaceful Dorset countryside, this family friendly campsite offers a relaxing stay in the Tarrant Valley, just five minutes from Blandford Forum. Surrounded by rolling fields and quiet lanes, it's a great spot to unwind, with the added bonus of a traditional pub right onsite. Guests can choose from level grass pitches measuring 6m x 9m or hardstanding pitches of the same size, each with a 16 amp electric hook up. Tents, roof tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans, motorhomes and RVs are all welcome, with up to six people permitted per pitch. At the heart of the site is the cosy pub, serving up tasty food and drink throughout the day. Guests can start the morning with a full English breakfast, enjoy a relaxed lunch or settle in for dinner with classic favourites like fish and chips or sausage and mash. On Sundays, a traditional roast is a real highlight, best enjoyed in the pub or out in the beer garden on warmer days. There's plenty to explore nearby too. Kingston Lacy and Badbury Rings are both just five minutes away, perfect for gentle walks and scenic views. The coast and Bournemouth are also within a 30 minute drive, with Durdle Door 40 minutes away! Dogs are welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch, so four-legged friends can come along for the adventure. Open fires are not permitted, and BBQs must be raised off the ground. There is even a local farm shop a two minute drive down the road for picking up tasty produce.
