Greenacres Campsite is set on the edge of the Wye Valley AONB with easy access to the River Wye, Symonds Yat Rock and all the outdoor fun of the Forest of Dean. The site is dog friendly and offers a variety of electric, non electric, grass and hardstanding pitches to suit all. Onsite café for tasty takeaways, a small shop for all your essentials and modern centrally heated facilities. A good base for Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves, Go Ape and more!

Lovely, quiet campsite, great first impression on arrival and it didn't disappoint! There was a note in the shop window when we arrived advising us of our allocated pitch. The grounds were very neat & tidy. Little shop & café there, we had a coffee in the morning & sat outside as we had our 2 dogs with us, plenty of tables and chairs there. There were BBQ grills there, not sure if they were for hire or to borrow. Sadly, the weather wasn't good during our one night stay so didn't enquire about these. Hard standing pitches with the offer of electric hook-up at £6.per night. Dogs welcome at £3 each per night, the toilet/shower facilities were lovey and clean, also a laundry room. Chemical waste disposal in a neatly fenced off area & recycle bins. The site was about 5 miles from Monmouth town centre. We had a lovely stay thank you, would highly recommend & will stay there again when back in the area!

Just returned from 4 night stay at Greenacres..... Wow what a lovely site, Andy and the rest of the staff we're amazing, so helpful and friendly. The site was spotlessly clean with plenty of room between pitches, the shower and toilets were warm and clean, the site and reception area were well landscaped and very attractive. Good dog walking immediately accessible from the site. Location was brilliant, very close to Symonds Yat, Puzzelwoodabd and easy travelling to Tintern Abbey, Ross on Wye, Monmouth and lots more beautiful places. Will definitely be returning, couldn't recommend highly enough.

We only stayed one night, to test out our new tent. The kids enjoyed it. The play area was ok but just a short walk away was a nice recreational park with a decent children's playground. The site was very pleasant and I was impressed with the toilet/shower and washing up facilities. I was tempted to sleep in the toilet block, it was lovely and warm :-D The staff were friendly and the site was spotlessly clean. We will be back :-)

A fantastic campsite, the reception staff were really helpful. The facilities were excellent, the shower unit is new and spotlessly clean. We walked from the Campsite to Symonds Yat and returned, 15km.

Lovely little site. Don't feel we used £6 in electric for one night but otherwise great value. We will be back.

This was a lovely site to stay on with very nice facilities. Very helpful owners giving great service. The site has great walks to local amenities and only a few minutes drive to lots of attractions in the Forest of Dean. Would definitely go back and stay again.

After getting there and realising my mistake of not remembering there was a bank holiday, and arriving a day late, the hosts fitted us in and were very welcoming. Will definitely return.

It was the first time we used our campervan, as we have just finished it. So we had only booked for one night. We had wished we'd booked for longer...it was so relaxing very clean...the staff were great... the only drawback was I am a coeliac and there were no wheat-free options for the cooked food available.

Only stayed for a one night stop, but the site was clean and tidy, as were the showers and toilets. Staff were very friendly and helpful with where the best local food places were. The town is only a short walk out of the back of the site. Would definitely stay again. Perfectly suited our needs.

Nice site. There were few minor irritations which could easily be avoided with a little more staff presence on site.

Absolutely perfect campsite, however our weather was very bad so weren't able to make the best use of this site. Facilities are clean and very modern with washing machine, tumble dryers and hair dryers. Table tennis tables, picnic tables and fire pits are all available, but sadly not in the rain. Very friendly owners who also run coffee shop. Hope to come back here again and explore the awesome surrounding area.

Greenacres is a super little site - we had a level hardstanding pitch, which was situated close to the toilets, showers, shop etc. A very clean and tidy site that had everything we needed for a great holiday on the edge of the Forest of Dean. It was a very quiet and comfortable stay - thank you Greenacres!

We had a brilliant stay at Greenacres. It was clean, quiet and a 6 minute drive from the Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat. The facilities provided were always spotless and there were never queues. The coffee from the onsite shop was delicious and they also sell essentials. We felt very welcome staying here. You are so allowed to have fires and BBQs (as long as you follow the rules), which is a huge bonus.

We enjoyed the whole visit. Friendly helpful staff, good facilities, excellent shop with warm. Thoughtful touches like fire pit hire and clear instructions and a map of Coleford were given on arrival. Minor point- men's showers a toilet paper dispenser not working and some hooks missing in a cubicle. This in no way detracted from a fab visit. Would recommend and would definitely return.
