Lucy is very much a character and certainly cares for the campsite, she jiggled our booking to enable our daughter and us to have adjoining huge plot. Very spacious pitches and wide central grass area gives a peaceful feeling that many other busier sites can't. As others mention the toilet & showers etc plus short walk to Minchinhampton are also big bonuses. Not sure anyone else can offer donkeys braying for treats either! Definitely one to come back to.
Highly recommend!

Just had such an amazing break away at Tabacconist Farm Campsite. Lovely secluded site and well looked after facilities. Washing machine was a dream to have use of! Lucy and her son Will are very friendly and make sure your well looked after. The local town is very picturesque, the pub is lovely. We had an amazing meal at the Amberley Inn, highly recommend. Thanks so much, Chris and Claire.

What can I say about this site? Just fantastic, beautiful site. Plenty of pitch room, you feel space around you. Facilities were very clean, showers lovely and hot, with free use of a washing machine, fridge freezer. They remember the tiny things, like a kettle, water carrier or spare rucsack! We've been camping for over 40 years and can easily say this is the best site we've stayed at. Thanks Lucy, we will be back.

Best site I've stayed at for a long time. Loads of space even on the bank holiday weekend. Clean loos and showers. Friendly hosts. Just adults and their dogs. We were three families of two generations of (young and not so young) adults. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely brilliant

We were met in arrival and shown to our pitch. Lucy was lovely and polite as she showed us around. Couldn't really ask for more. Top facilities which were clean, heated and even had a kitchen to use if required. Really enjoyed our stay there.
Beautifully run, tranquil adults only site in attractive Minchinhampton

Slightly sloping field (no problem levelling our motorhome with the chocks), nice spacious pitches. Lovely to have the calm of a child-free campsite. Great shower/toilet facilities. Easy chemical disposal. You can get takeaways delivered to the campsite gate. Lovely walks in all directions and especially on Minchinhampton Common. Short walk to town pub which does fabulous food and has a nice terrace garden out the back. All dog friendly. Lovely little cafe in the centre too and small shop. This was our second visit and it was fabulous.
Great site with local town, shop, café and pub

Booked this in January and it took ages for the August bank holiday to come around. Despite the weather's best efforts to spoil the long weekend, Tobacconist Farm is a great little campsite kept in tip top condition by Lucy, the owner. It seems to be a haven for adults with friendly dogs. The showers are hot and powerful, washing up and toilet facilities kept clean for all. Local town 500m away had a lovely café, well-stocked shop, great pub, chippie and an Italian restaurant. Lucy's son does a great line in firewood for the firepit too. If you like donkeys - bring mints for Alun & Alice.
Will definitely be back

Loved this adult only site. The owner had selected a lovely pitch with shade for us as we have dogs. Electricity and water on the pitch. Good dog walk and friendly welcome. 5 mins walk from the centre of Minchinhampton which is a lovely little town and 15 mins from the common. Really enjoyed our stay.
Enjoyed our stay

This site is an absolute gem. The pitches are very large and private, the shower building is very well maintained and kept extremely clean at all times 😀 The owner is very friendly and absolutely nothing is a problem. My wife and I had a problem with the exhaust on our car, Lucy the owner came to our rescue and helped us to get it fixed. We would recommend this site to anyone, it really is a superb place and nice and quiet at night. It is also only just a few minutes walk into the village, where you can find a few shops, café and a pub. We will definitely visit again in the future 😀

Our stay at Tobacconist Farm Campsite was great. We had good communication from Lucy and she made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Lovely hot, clean showers. Clean washing up area with an indoor space and electric kettle, which was a nice touch. Lots of space between the pitches. We borrowed a firepit and were able to purchase wood on-site, which made our evenings warm and atmospheric. The dog walking area was well maintained and created some added interest for our dogs between taking them on countryside walks. Other campers were respectful, so it was very quiet at night. I felt completely relaxed at this beautifully maintained site.

Rang to see if had pitches available, arrived 20 minutes later and received a warm welcome from Lucy. Great location, large pitches with natural edging to give privacy between pitches, excellent shower blocks and cute donkeys. Loved it. Will be back.

The site manager did everything and nothing was to much trouble. It was a lovely, clean and maintained site that was very close to a small town, which had all you needed. Would definitely return, but for longer.

We booked here for 4 nights and had a great time. The owner Lucy is friendly and has lots of good tips about the area. The pitches were an excellent size and the facilities were good and kept clean. All in all, a fab spot to spend some time exploring the local area. We will visit again and definitely recommend.

The campsite is in a quiet spot, 5 minute walk from town. The owner was pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. The amenities were clean and shower was nice and warm. The town has everything you need. The butchers had fantastic steak, the Crown is nice. A walk of about 15 minutes led you onto Minchinhampton common. A nice round trip can take you to Winstones for a nice ice cream. The Bear at Rodborough Common for a nice drink. Then back onto Minchinhampton common for The Old Lodge. Fantastic views from the pub garden. Then 30 minutes back to the camp for a quiet evening. If you like walking, and peace and quiet, I would definitely be back.
Lovely relaxing stay

We have just spent a fabulous two nights at Tobacconist Farm in our bag-fresh tent! Recently decided to have a go at camping and so far so good. The site is in a great location and just a short (10 minute) walk into the very pretty town of Minchinhampton. On arrival we were greeted by Lucy who showed us to our pitch whilst explaining the do's and dont's and giving us some local info. The shower/toilet block is modern and well maintained. There's also a kitchen area for washing up and even a washing machine if you're so inclined! Fire pits are available to use (and wood for sale at £7 per bag, if like us you haven't taken any). A great bonus was a fenced dog walking area, giving our little Flinders a great chance to stretch her legs off lead. There were a couple of donkeys in an adjacent field which was a lovely view to wake up to. We'd definitely love to go back at some point. Keep up the good work guys.

Excellent campsite with plenty of space for pitches, nice and quiet (no road noise). Lovely views and a paddock full of friendly donkeys, and we didn't queue once for a toilet or shower. Very clean and spacious shower block, and a good kitchen area too.

I fully recommend Tobacconist Farm. It's a fabulous adult only campsite. Pitches are spacious, not all crammed together. Spotless showers, toilets and washing up facilities. Lucy (owner) is amazing, very helpful and accommodating.

Amazing little campsite, adults-only so very peaceful and quiet. Most spacious pitches I have ever seen on a site! The toilet block is well-designed and kept immaculate. Short walk into a lovely village with a general stores and a couple of pubs and cafes to eat in. The moor is easily accessible for longer walks and other pubs. The little wooded area for dog walking is great and the two donkeys are lovely, always coming to say hello!
