About the site


This site is nestled within the beauty of Northern Ireland, with its own pub, games room, and a play area to keep little ones entertained. It's the perfect base for exploring the Sperrin Mountains National Landscape with hill walks and lake trails, or Davagh Forest (20 minutes) for mountain biking, hiking, and stargazing at the Dark Sky Park. Stay on grass pitches for tents or electric hardstanding pitches with a 16 amp hook up for caravans, campervans, motorhomes, roof tents, and RVs. A cosy log cabin with a double bed and a bunk bed is available, too. Or, rent the traditional furnished camper's cottage with an open fire and outdoor seating. For day trips, Cookstown is 25 minutes away for sightseeing, scenic walks, and eateries. Belfast is an hour away, home to museums, a zoo, castles, and parks. Dogs are more than welcome to join your stay, free of charge. BBQs and campfires are allowed.

A camper's kitchen is available with an electric kettle, fridge, and a double wash up sink. Please note that there is no WiFi and limited mobile coverage.

The Shepherds Rest Bar is onsite, serving drinks only. The pub only caters for private functions. The Mill Wheel Bar is a 15 minute drive away, with drink and food options. A Premier is a ten minute drive away for picking up essentials.

Just a 20 minute drive from the site, the Sperrin Mountains offer stunning walking trails and the iconic Beaghmore Stone Circles. Drumnaph Nature Reserve, 25 minutes away, provides peaceful and dog friendly trails.

Families will love Splash NI Waterpark (25 minutes), with an inflatable water course, kayaking, paddleboarding, and wild swimming. The Jungle, 20 minutes away, offers action-packed fun with zorbing, archery, treetop adventures, and more! For a less action-filled day, head to Glenshane Country Farm (20 minutes) and meet some friendly farm animals or Sperrin Fun Farm (30 minutes).
