A great campsite, has electric hook up pitches as well as non electric. There were only 3 of us on the field the first night and 2 on the second. There were extremely clean restrooms and I noted them being cleaned very regularly and incredibly thoroughly. Definitely a great site if you're not looking to drive for too long if you're living in Newcastle. Even the 24 hours of rain didn't dampen our experience, loved it!

A lovely site, but a long walk to get water. Also the outside light by the main facilities block I found too bright at night shining in our tent, but I'm sure others would appreciate it. I like dark skies! But a peaceful friendly site.

Great site. There are 3 fields, one quite noisy but the other 2 are much quieter. The owners were really helpful and they try their best to keep things clean. The toilet floors get quite wet and you are constantly walking grass and mud in. There is a mop, but a squeegee would help.

What an amazing little find- great campsite, plenty of spaces, friendly owners and a great location for walkers. Some basic but clean facilities, lots of little fire pits around the camp for use. Very peaceful location.

We were lucky with the weather so we had a lovely time camping. Lovely big field for the children to play in and meet up with other children in a safe environment. Friendly welcome on arrival and good value for money. Showers were a little on the cool side but didn't spoil our stay.

Good little site, fairly basic but what we wanted. Electric pitches for tents are on a slope, which was disappointing, and the grass could've done with being cut, but the site is in a perfect location. Hot water for showers runs out pretty quick so get in early. I think they were working in the boiler while we started so that could've been the issue with the hot water.

The site is basic but has everything you need, including washing and drying. Perfect for those passing through on a hike along Hadrian's wall. The weather was not on our side so found the pitch very muddy when packing down. We pitched at the bottom of a hill so would opt for a place further up next time. Tree swing and football nets a bonus for the kids.

The terrible weather had made the field very muddy. They did a great job trying to keep the facilities clean. Great place to visit Hadrian's Wall. The Twice Brewed were great - they put the ladies' semi-final on for us.

Large field on a working farm, very friendly family run in brilliant location near Hadrian's Wall. Toilet block was functional, and as a working farm did get muddy quite quickly but was regularly cleaned. All in all, a great stay and would definitely return!

Enjoyed stay. Plenty of space and options to pitch. Clean toilets and showers. Quiet and peaceful. Working farm with lots of machinery so need to ensure children don’t wander. Previous campers had left some litter.

A nice location, not too far from Hexham, with a couple of areas for camping. We stayed on the larger field, which appeared to have a lot of regular customers & families. Field was well maintained, but only had one tap for water, and the toilets were often found with queues, as there were only 2 toilets 2 urinals, 2 sinks & 1 shower for all the men onsite. That said, facilities were clean, nice views around, and very handy for Hadrian's wall.

Lovely night away in our tent, great location. The campsite is huge spread over 2 fields, there are football nets and a rope swing down the bottom field, which is great for kids. Definitely recommend and we will be back soon. Thanks for a great stay😁❤️

Lovely people. Was noisy on a night with children running around as we prefer a quiet campsite. The showers also weren't clean every time I went in, and I don't blame the owners, I blame the people who didn't clean up after they used the showers.

We visited and stayed here. The big field at the top right. Had a pleasant stay and they hired us a fire pit and sold us a bag of logs. Top night.

Lovely location and small but regularly cleaned facilities. In a big field with everyone camped round the edge so the children can run around within view. There was a rope swing hanging from a tree which provided endless entertainment. The kids were thrilled when they got to bottle-feed a lamb one morning. Very close to Hadrian's Wall. All in all, a little gem. Would recommend.
