Good site

Lovely park, swimming pool was clean and warm. It was a shame that not all the facilities were open (bar etc) as it was the Easter holidays. Would like to visit again in the summer.

Up and coming site

Lovely little site, it is in the middle of being updated by the look of things. Would benefit from a few more waist bins dotted around the site and a few more dog bins too! Lovely bar area and entertainment on occasions. A few more hooks in toilet area would be beneficial, all staff were lovely on our visit. A few miles from Dunster Castle and Minehead and walking distance to the beach. Would recommend a visit.

The most stunning location

We had the most amazing week away at St Audries Bay. Firstly the location is so perfect to explore both Quantock Hills and Exmoor National park. As well as having the direct access to the beach and waterfalls. The site itself is perfect with a clean and warm pool available to use through the day and amazing play park at the front over looking cliff and beaches. They are very dog friendly and we all had the best time. If you are touring be warned the turning for the touring area is immediately on your right as you come towards the campsite and very easy to miss it. The road to the campsite too is very narrow and 1/2 mile downhill. We never met another car but possible and hard work if you are towing at the same time. This time of year the grass parts of the pitches are very boggy. The toilets and showers were always very clean but the showers could be better. The ladies heater would never work and the shower head is very small and not very powerful, making it really hard to wash your hair. Overall though the location and other facilities really make this place shine. It is very good value and we would highly recommend it to anyone else heading to this part of the country for a holiday.

A great find!

Despite a few challenges for the staff due to new ownership, they deliver a 5* service. Great people, nothing is too much trouble. The young pool manager was particularly helpful and obviously very proud of his pool (and rightly so, it's great!) Please consider an adults only swim session at 8.30-9.

Lovely quiet park

The park is fairly easy to get to and close to main towns. Lots of activities on site to use for free (pool, snooker, darts, boules, table tennis, outdoor tennis, indoor pool). Lovely park and will be returning! Could be a bit more lit at night though.

Lovely clean site

I couldn't give it 5 stars in all that applied because I didn't use the facilities provided so therefore cannot comment. Yes the site is very clean and is situated in an idyllic location with access to the Bay. Our plot 13 was level and spacious but unfortunately previous campers had put a ground sheet down and killed the grass, so where our awning was errected was directly on the mud. For environmental reasons we do not use ground sheets so I had to make do with a bath mat for something to step on to, to enable us to remove our footwear before entering the caravan, which was disappointing. The shower block was very clean but the showers were under pressure so don't expect a power shower. As it was October, the site was very peaceful. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this site.

Nice location & site

Great location & clean maintained site, although facilities I've scored down due to them being limited, we went away at the end of September. The bar was only open 2 of the nights. There was no takeaway except pizza and no meals available in restaurant. We were not aware of this when booking but would definitely go back in season.

Spotless facilities

We have just had three days and two nights staying at this lovely campsite. The facilities, showers and toilets are spotless. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is also very dog friendly. The area is good for walking and getting out in the fresh sea air. We have had a great time.

Lovely site but food could be improved

Beautiful site, staff were very friendly and the site facilities were absolutely spotless. Showers and toilets were spotless and well maintained, and the pitch was excellent with plenty of room. The downside was that the clubhouse didn't open til 5pm and the only food served was 4 different pizzas, nothing else. If they appointed a chef, opened earlier and did a breakfast and more meals, I think the site is missing the chance of taking it to the next level

Thank you for your comments, with regards to the clubhouse, the pandemic has had a big impact on us at St Audries, as it has hospitality in general but we are bouncing back with the help and understanding of our residents and guests.

Great site

We have just come home from a 10 night stay. The site is very clean and tidy, very helpful and friendly staff, Ian's pizza's are delicious! The dog walking field is very useful. The children loved being able to run to the park and cycle their bikes safely. The swimming pool is lovely and warm too. The beach is stony but lots of fossils to find. The only very slight negative was that it is down the bottom of a steep, single track road. Fortunately we had the power in our car to get the caravan up. Would highly recommend to others.

Lovely location

Off the A39 and the entrance road to the park can be a blind spot for motorhomes and caravans, but with that said, the site is lovely. Mainly static and private caravans with a small touring area. Level and large hard standing and grass pitches allowing plenty of space. Shower/toilet block immaculate and generally from my own experience they are accessed by persons in the touring part of the park, hence likely why they are next to the touring pitches. Reception staff very polite and helpful and only too happy to help. Bar, food and swimming pool, but restricted times of openings. Shop also on site. The site has its own shingle/sand beach, but the steps of access to it are very steep and very slippery in damp/wet conditions, making it somewhat dangerous to potential falls. I would not recommend for elderly persons or the infirm. Fantastic views from the site over the bay. Exercise area for dogs to be off the lead. Sadly we had to cut our journey short so did not get the benefit of seeing the area to its full extent.

Lovely stay

Brilliant site, spotlessly clean facilities and really friendly staff. The location was peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful walks on the beaches and headlands. Would definitely recommend, we shall visit again very soon.

A wonderful stay!

One of the best trips we have had.... sea views all day long and sunsets to watch every evening, 2 minutes to the beach and the best toilet and shower facilities ever. Warm and dry and cleaned several times a day. We used the pool and visited the Sundowner Bar on Friday and Saturday nights. Lovely views across the bay and excellent service from the staff. The receptionists were extremely helpful. The motorhome pitches are all level and well maintained with water and chemical disposal facilities close by.
