About Cheddar Camping and Caravanning Club Site
The Cheddar Camping and Caravanning Club site is located just over a half a mile outside of the pretty Somerset village of Priddy, the highest village in the Mendips. The gently sloping site offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches for campers and tourers and the majority of pitches have electric hook-up available. Dogs are welcome, but there is no on-site dog walk - a local footpath near the main gate is recommended instead but dogs must be kept on a lead.
Open from 19 March to 29 November
Well maintained shower and toilet facilities include a family room. There's also a laundry, washing up area, and licensed shop. WiFi is available.
The village of Priddy is under a mile's walk from the site, with a popular pub and farm shop.

Things to do on site and in the Wells area
The site is an ideal base for exploring the area around Cheddar, and experiencing the walking, cycling, caving and climbing on offer.
There are plenty of local attractions, including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Swildon's Hole, Glastonbury and Wells. The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company is a must-see.
The village of Priddy hosts a popular folk festival in July each year.
