Barmouth

Showers are a little out dated, but clean and water was hot and on a timer, which was good idea. Toilet block is new, very clean. Nice walks around the site, there is a shop on the Sands site which is at the bottom of the lane, plus you can get drinks. Very close the the train station, with regular trains at very reasonable prices. Would stay again.

Great campsite

We had a great few days weather was really hot but campsite is close to the sea, so had a lovely breeze at night. We asked for a pitch on the edge of the field and was given a great pitch in a small field with just one other family. Toilets and showers excellent, very clean. The site was full over the weekend but wasn't noisy. Great spot with lots of places to visit nearby.

Lovely site, clean and close to beach

Overall we have a lovely 2 night stay. Good sized pitch. Toilets were clean, showers clean and easy enough to use. Only suggestion would be to have extra washing up facilities (extra sink maybe) as if it was very busy, it might be an issue. Location not 5 star just because it's a stony beach. Beautiful mountain views. Nice atmosphere.

Good weather

Lady on reception not very friendly, dogs running about off their leads. Loud music till gone midnight, showers and toilet very basic and cold.

Please note that all dogs are required to be on leads at all times ,and we have a strict no noise policy after 10 pm to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests. Had we been aware of the issues during your stay, we would have done our best to address them promptly. Brilliant and relaxing stay

We stayed for two nights and was glorious sunshine the entire time. Just a few minutes walk to Talybont beach which in my opinion is the nicest beach in the UK! Barmouth is only a 5 minute drive away and you can take the train anywhere along the coast. The campsite was lovely and quiet with close-by amenities. We will be staying again.

Family fun

Beautifully located site with stunning views and all amenities needed. I stayed here for 6 nights alone with my 2 children and did not struggle at all once with the facilities or accessibility. Plenty to do in the area and the site is lovely and peaceful due to only allowing couples and families.
