Love this place!

Love staying here, great facilities. Open space for kids to play and great pitch on the fairway. 3 areas per pitch, hard stand for caravan, gravel and grass area. Club house is good too, plus they have a new pub but we didn’t get chance to try it out.

Lovely place

Really nice spot, really lovely staff, big pitches, clean facilities. I have given it 5 stars but if you aren't a fan of hard pitches then consider it a 4. If you've never camped on a hard pitch then I can't recommend enough that you get screw pegs and bring a drill because getting hard ground pegs in and later, out in 31c temp was a killer. I also broke a hammer and 3 pegs! Aside from that, my only complaint is that the pitch we had had absolutely no escape from the sun. Had we known, we could have brought something so just would have been good to expect it, though probably a noob mistake on our part.

Fabulous site

Travelled a lot around the country and plassey comes top of the list for us. Enjoyed everything at the park in the day and night. Loved it so much we have booked again for next weekend

Fantastic site

The best site I've ever stayed at. Lovely heated indoor pool. Fresh food in coffee shop and the restaurant.

Great campsite with plenty to do!

On arrival, we were greeted with some lovely check in staff that were very helpful, then a lovely lady guided us to our plot, again very helpful and positive. We got set up and enjoyed the views and beautiful sun over spring meadow. I was hesitant to book this section as had previously read a review suggesting this area was shaded. The facilities on site were all very clean and regularly checked to meet a high standard, the indoor pool was lovely but not very warm. There was an onsite games room, badminton court, table tennis tables, children's play area, shops etc. So much to do! Next time, we will be bringing the dog as the dog field was an added bonus. We tried the bar entertainment in the evening which was more tailored towards children, and very overpriced. The site had everything you would need & more, for a competitive price. Now for the negatives, the staff member on the pool wasn't too friendly and our partners booked to play golf on site and was greeted with a rather unpleasant man who didn't let them play due to one of them not having a polo shirt. They did not get a refund, so disappointing, they left £40 down. These 2 staff members let our overall stay down, hence the 4* for standard of service.

Fabulous site

Fantastic site and extremely well run and maintained, with the added bonus of a great golf course on site.

Excellent campsite

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. The pitches were clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the on-site facilities—such as the restroom and communal areas—were well maintained. The kids loved the playground and evening entertainment, and we particularly appreciated the quiet, relaxed atmosphere around the site. One drawback: a strict pool policy requiring children under 17 to be accompanied by an adult inside the water—even though a trained lifeguard was on duty. While we do understand safety precautions, requiring supervision up to such an age felt unnecessary, especially when standard safety guidance usually caps that requirement at a younger age or for weaker swimmers only. It made the pool less flexible for families of experienced teen swimmers.

Great place for first time in a caravan and times after

This was out first caravan experience in the UK and we wanted to try a location with a pool and also not very from our house. Plassey is amazing, well looked after, the wardens are very friendly and everyone we have interacted with was great. They have a great restaurant on site, the swimming pool is very nice and the facilities are top notch for the price paid. We will visit many more times.

Nice and quiet as was a rainy weeknight!

Big site with lots of pitches. Fun for families.

Fantastic site for exploring Wales

A very welcoming site with every facility you could ask for. The pitches were excellent size nice and flat, site was easy to find. Loved the fish and chip van on Saturday night and food in the golf house was very good too. Enjoyed a lovely coffee in the coffee shop and enjoyed playing the pitch and putt course. Only thing we didn't try was the swimming pool, but looked lovely. A lot of the holiday village shops were not open, but maybe out of season. Would well recommend this site.

Great first touring stay

This was our first trip away with our touring caravan. Great facilities and lots of children around for our daughter to play with. Other tourers were very friendly, especially when we had an issue moving the caravan onto our pitch, they came and rescued us when we needed help ☺️ The pool was great. The club house was good too, all staff friendly and efficient service, BBQ night was a nice touch and a good price. The only minor issue was the reg plate recognition barrier, which didn't recognise our car plate, we kept having to go into reception to ask for it lifting. Overall, this was a great first experience, will definitely be back!

Great place to stay!

I personally wouldn't stay on the Spring Meadow area again, it's completely in the shade and for some reason, exceptionally windy, more than any other areas of the site. Didn't like all the fall from the trees either as I have a poodle type dog and as they were like very small sticky miniature leaves. My dog was constantly covered in them, sticking to his fur and they were a nightmare to get out. Food and drink in Haybarn was lovely and toilets and showers spotlessly clean. The retail village was only okay as the shops weren't shops we were particularly interested in, such a picture framing and crystal stones etc.

Absolutely brilliant site

What a great place, something for all ages. Indoor pool was a bonus, had a chilled but fun weekend here. Ctaff are really nice and helpful, we will definitely be back here. Would be perfect if there were showers within the changing room and not just poolside when you've got little ones in tow - would just make it a bit easier.

Lovely, clean site

Lovely, clean site with big pitches. Clean facilities and loads to do, from walks to swimming and playing golf. Staff friendly and helpful Quiet too, loved listening to the birds xx

It was a lovely site

The place is clean all the staff where really helpful. The only thing was we got there 10 mins early, and they tried to charge an early fee to go in, so we had to park up for ten mins. Apart from that, the pitch, the site and the bar were fantastic. If you have children it has everything to keep them entertained. The food in the bar was nice and staff very friendly. The shower block was spotless. I know it's a bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

Very pleased with our stay

Absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful surrounding and lot's to see and do. We stayed in winter, so it was very quiet. I imagine it would be very busy in the summer. My only negative was the indoor pool was a lot cooler than expected!

Friendly and lovely staff

Lovely staff, the toilets were unbelievably clean, heated, the site and pitch were great. Best site we have stayed on.
