Lovely and quiet. For me as a novice, I came away with more knowledge about camping after discussing with owner, very helpful. Thank you.

Good basic site for VW tyoe campers and tents. Its a large field with a single shower and two toilres. Ther were around a dozen other campers,if it was very busy the facilities might not be enough. Great location for visiting Sailsbury, Park and Ride about 10 minutes away. Good value.

Beautiful setting with simple but well thought out facilities. The site was easy to find and served us well as a one night stop on the way to Dorset.

The campsite is very quiet, clean, well maintained. Wi-Fi and USB sockets are a plus. The rain shelter is very good. Do not hesitate to ask the owner for hot water in the showers because it is not put on automatically. The website gives a lot of information and that's very good!

We had a nice stay at the Salisbury Campsite. It was easy to find, the facilities were clean and comfortable. There even was a little shelter where you could cook, eat or sit together and even charge your devices. I recommend.

Perfect little campsite on the farm. The toilets are clean, the bar is very pleasant and my son loved the games available (pedal tractors, go-karts).

This campsite was just what I was looking for, simple, big and easy going. Also very cheap, just staying a night. I definitely would recommend this for campers with a vehicle, otherwise you will need a taxi. What would be nice to have is just a printout of a map with the surrounding paths and the footpath to the nearest pub and village, because I did not find it on foot. I do not use a smartphone, so a QR code is not very helpful. Thanks, it was an interesting walk anyway ;-) and a pleasant stay!

Amazing stay, beautiful views, pure relaxation. Needs an extra shower, however this is going to happen, very minimal negative in the whole scheme of things, everything else was fantastic and a wonderful start to our road trip in our new motorhome. Thank you 🙏🏼

This was our first off grid experience in our Motorhome. The field was great - well maintained and peaceful. I initially thought that I had royalty messed up when I realised that it was summer solstice and a load of people were off to the stones for the night. But it was fine - we were up and awake by the time they returned. We walked into Salisbury, which is delightful. My one and only complaint, being a woman of a certain age and short, is that the steps up to the toilets are a pain. I felt they were narrow and too steep. There is no way the rail would hold anyone who slipped.

Simple, no hassle campsite. Warm shower with good pressure and clean. There is a QR code that provides a walking route to a nearby pub and shop to avoid walking along the main road. I would say if you are taking this route you need to have appropriate walking footwear and possibly long trousers as it does require you to trek through long grass and stinging nettles/brambles. We did try walking along the main road on the way back and we found it to be much faster and mostly there was a soft verge to walk along to avoid being in the road. Wouldn't recommend walking along the main road if you have dogs or young children or if it's dark.

Tidy and neat, with a great walk to Salisbury. Enjoyed the view of the spire, the sheep and the horses. The warm shower was great after a long day of walking and the loos were clean and modern - not like the school cubicles set up.

We love simplicity. We need neither hot water nor electricity (though USB charging is convenient). We love the fantastic view of Salisbury hills and cathedral. This campsite offered us just that. Sanitary facilities: OK.

Great campsite - clean, quiet with simple facilities. Great location just outside Salisbury. 30 min walk to local pub. Did exactly what it said on the tin. Would definitely return.

We stayed in a small field, with toilets, showers (cold water only), charging point and WiFi. Lots of space as not many people there early in the season. It's 8 min drive from Salisbury Centre (Old George Mall car park cheapest we saw for all day, under £8, which is super cheap to us - £25 in Cambridge for all day). 20 mins from Stonehenge which meant we could get up early to be there at 9:30am to beat the crowds. Book for later if you are worried, but they let you in anyway. Great advice from the campsite owner who greeted us and came to chat everyday. Campsite has friendly horses, nervous sheep, fat bunnies and a beautiful walk up the lane. Logs available to buy onsite for raised fire pits - we couldn't fit ours in unfortunately. Great location, and view over the valley with the Cathedral's huge spire in view. Gorgeous.

Great campsite, plenty of room, gorgeous views, nice walks nearby and friendly owners. Cold shower needs a bit of maintenance as currently the jets of water spray in all directions making a successful shower hard work, but I raised this with one of the owners and my feedback was welcomed so I can't ask more than that. Will be back soon I'm sure!

Great location. Campsite was ideal for us on our 3 week trip around England. We had our 6 year old with us too, ideally would have liked if there'd been a park onsite. Also hot water would've been preferred in showers, hand washing and dish washing but didn't spoil our stay. Hosts were lovely and welcoming and a few visits from their dogs too.
Site's response
Thank you for your review. We are very much hoping to add hot water for our second season in 2022. We very much advertise ourselves as a quiet, semi wild site so a park would I am afraid go very much against what we are trying to achieve. I am glad you liked our friendly dogs.
