Ideally located between the Yorkshire Moors and Dales and only a short distance to the A1 and A19, getting to this park couldn't be easier. The touring park accepts caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents including those who wish to stay for the season. Otterington Park is popular with families and couples of all ages and there are large, open pitches for owner-occupied static caravans and lodges, plus three cosy camping pods for hire.
Otterington Park is in a lovely rural location, only a short walk from the village of South Otterington. The area is popular with cyclists and has many public footpaths nearby for those who like walking. The park itself is your chance to discover an abundance of wildlife, spread over approximately 20 acres of grass and woodland. With a fishing lake, nature walks and picnic areas to enjoy, what better place to sit and enjoy the wonders of nature? On site, the touring area allows plenty of space between caravans with ample room for you to enjoy your holiday without feeling like you are sharing it with those in the van next door. Pitches are hardstanding with EHU and shelter from nearby trees and shrubs. Otterington Park's wooden pods are warm, cosy and very popular, sleeping up to three adults and one child or two adults and two children (under 16). Please bring your own sleeping bags and pillows, together with a blanket to put under your sleeping bag for extra insulation and you'll enjoy a very toasty stay. There are also owner occupied holiday lodges and static caravans ideal for families and retirees.
Season dates given above are for Touring pitches and camping pods. Owner owned static caravan and lodges are open from 1st March to 15th January.
Touring pitches available for tourers, motorhomes and seasonal tourers. All pitches are gravel hardstanding, with EHU, surrounded by grass, trees and shrubs.

Unfortunately Otterington Park doesn't share their availability calendar with us yet. Availability changes quickly, especially in summer, so we recommend enquiring by phone to avoid missing out.
At Otterington Park we like to promote a very relaxed atmosphere which is in keeping with the natural surroundings.
However we do have a few rules which are there for the benefit of all. A comprehensive list is available but here are a few which we feel are most important.
Please respect the park and the privacy of others. For the benefit of all keep noise to a minimum particularly at night. Vandalism and anti-social behaviour could result in you being asked to leave.
We allow cycles to be ridden as long as they are not causing a nuisance and a helmet is worn.
Parents must supervise children in the amenity block and the children's playground.
Dogs must be kept on a lead and any fouling removed pronto. The children's play area is out of bounds for dogs and at certain times of the year (when birds are nesting) the fishing lake is also.
We allow barbecues but not directly on the grass please. Fires and gazebos are not allowed due to fire regulations.
Right here on-site there is a lovely little fishing lake which is free to those staying at the park. The park has woodland nature walks and lots of space to explore. Children can get outside and play ball games in the play area and your pooch will love sniffing out Yorkshire's attractions.
Being located between the Yorkshire Moors and Dales makes walking fantastically accessible. Horse racing is a popular pastime for visitors and the local towns provide interesting and unique shops and cafes.
