Vale of Pickering Campsite is a great site to stay on. Facilities are lovely and clean, reception and staff are great people who will help with anything you ask them. There is also a café and shop onsite, can't ask for anything better.

What a beautiful site. Facilities were amazing and the campsite was extremely well kept. A lovely little park for the kids, would highly recommend. Only a 30 minute drive to Scarborough with lots to do in the surrounding areas.

We've stayed in many campsites in the UK and abroad. We are rarely return visitors, simply because we like to stay different places, but we all agreed we would return to the Vale of Pickering another time. Great playground that kept my 9 and 11 year olds happy - so not just for little ones! So so quiet, I've never known a campsite be so silent through the night, it was blissful. Modern clean facilities, huge pitches. A well stocked shop, staff and other campers lovely and friendly. Ideal location for Pickering and Malton sights with plenty to do nearby.

We stayed at this park at the beginning of April. This site is first-class, with everything you could wish for. No road noise or sirens. The only noise was birdsong. Very restful.

We have really enjoyed our stay at the Vale of Pickering Caravan Park, it was very clean and quiet of an evening, so no disruption for sleep. The facilities were brilliant and kept very clean. We found the location great to visit to different places and then return to the peace and quiet. We have two dogs and the dog walk was massive it was like a football pitch. We would most certainly return to this site.

We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every single one of them. We were greeted by the friendliest staff ever and was allocated a pitch for our needs. The facilities on site were outstanding. A bath in the shower block was a great attraction for us and the food in the cafe was beautiful. The site shop had everything a holiday maker needed and more. The children had a great playground and kept to the rules required. 5 stars from us.

Excellent campsite with everything for a luxury stay Amazing campsite with all the facilities you could wish for. Very high quality facilities and campsite as a whole. Dogs are well catered for with an excellent exercise area and dog shower. All in all, well deserved of a 5 star rating.

Facilities were always very clean and available - individual cubicles for sinks, toilets, showers & even baths, also wet rooms with all in (great for disabled use), laundry room, washing up room, freezer for ice blocks, microwave, playground, shop & cafe. Good sized pitches that drained well in the pouring rain we had! Very happy with our stay here. 30-40 minute drive to most places along the coast.

A really pleasant stay in a clean and quiet campsite. The kids enjoyed the playground and the large space around the tents. The toilet block was well-equipped and clean. The freezer was a nice touch. We would definitely be staying here again.

Short weekend break, the first night there was no electric due to a power cut; this was off for a few hours. The site didn’t reimburse any funds for the lack of electric when paid for an electric hookup. Facilities generally clean. Pizza night on Fridays however due to the lack of electric, this wasn’t available. Cafe could do with more choice and opening for longer as it closes at 14:00. No local pubs/shops within walking distance.

Thank you for leaving a review about your recent stay. It was very unfortunate that there was a power cut on the Friday evening for 4 hours in the local area. This is not what anyone wants and unfortunately this did mean that the café also had to close. The nearest pub is approximately 1.25 miles from the site and takes 30 mins to walk to. Apart from our small shop onsite the nearest shop is in Thornton le dale (4 miles).
