Pretty site close to York
Motorhome - Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2024 A small site, in a lovely location by the river. Accessible to York by bus, walking or bike. 3 decent pubs a short walk away.
Minor negatives were a lack of sufficient waste bins (all overflowing early Sunday morning). No loo rolls in either gents W.C on Sunday morning.
Yes, the site was full, but staff knew that. Although there was a phone contact with a real person answering, a bit of general information about the site and facilities would have been helpful. Would visit again.

Motorhome - Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2024 The site was very clean in all respects. The washroom were spotless with lovely hot water in the showers!
All the pitches were hardstanding and were extremely level, which was an added bonus! We didn't try the Bosuns restaurant, but I'm led to believe that the standard is very good!
Lovely walks into York, took around 1.5 hours by the side of the Ouse, with a bus ride back - was brilliant!! Electric hook up with water tap on the pitch was great!
