Excellent campsite VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches (Orchard Meadow) May 2026 Had a excellent stay at this campsite. Couldn’t fault anything about it. Lovely big pitches, peaceful atmosphere & excellent facilities. Will definitely visit again!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches (Orchard Meadow) May 2026 Great site and location, friendly owner and staff (the older man was a legend) had great fishing advice, the whole site was very well thought off, we stayed at many sites over the last two weeks and this was the best one in every way. We wish we could had stayed longer and will defiantly be booking again.

Excellent stay
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Pond Meadow) Jul 2025 Good campsite, very friendly site. Great location if you have a car, key locations like Newquay and St Ives are a good hour drive away which was suitable.
Dog Friendly, nice park for the dog to be off lead.
When looking for a campsite the facilities were a big thing, the toilets are showers are very clean, modern, nice hot water.
Would recommend and definitely stay again.
Summer 2025
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches (Orchard Meadow) Jun 2025 This is a gem of a site.
Nothing to dislike, the campsite is lovely, the owners can't do enough for you from the start with a warm welcome.
There's toilet and shower blocks are very clean. Would definitely come back.
The one negative about this site is the road to it is extremely narrow. I must admit I heard my breath a few times especially while arriving towing a caravan.

Camping in June
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Lake View Meadow) Jun 2025 Had an amazing stay, staff where very friendly and helpful.
On the first night we had a BBQ using the burgers and sausages made on site, they were lovely. Facilities were clean and well maintained.
Will definitely go back.

Would definitely recommend the site for a nice quiet and peaceful surroundings.
Friendly campsite

We stayed this time in field by the fishing lake. Its quite windy and there are a lot of bird life. Next time we will book back on the otherwise of the park. This is just our personal preference.
We love this campsite, staff are fantastic and the facilities are great and always clean.
Highly recommend this campsite. Its close to Mevagissey and lovely local beaches (allow dogs).
Little gem
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Orchard Meadow) Aug 2024 I gave facilities 3* but it was not about the camp, the food in the bar was not to standard, offering burgers and chicken burgers plain only. No butter, no salad, no fries. Not really the best way to serve up a burger.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Outer Meadow) Aug 2024 We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. Modern and clean facilities. Firepits to hire and logs/kindling to buy, which is great. Beautiful views too. The only thing that would have been handy, is if the little shop had more fresh stock. Other than that it was perfect!

A beautiful, tranquil site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Lake View Meadow) Aug 2024 This campsite is only 8 minutes from The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
When you arrive, you are welcomed with a smile and are shown the facilities around the site. We booked a lake view pitch and wow, what a lovely area for our stay and to watch the sunset every evening. We also had a wander around the rest of the site which was very beautiful and well kept. The shop accommodated your basic needs, the showers and toilets were very clean
If you want peace and quiet this is the place. Yes, we certainly will book again.
4 night stay with electric hook-up
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Outer Meadow Pond View) Jul 2024 Pensagillas is a small quiet campsite between St Austell and Truro in a good location for exploring Cornwall.
We had an outer meadow pitch with electric hook-up, a view of the pond and the small flock of Canadian Geese that arrived daily. There was a small shed with a shower, toilet and 2 washing up sinks nearby and there are more facilities near reception and the bar - all are clean and well maintained.
There is a small shop at Reception and a bar is open in the evening that serves chips and a small selection of hot food.
Firepits can be hired and they have all you need to get your fire started. We enjoyed our stay and spoke with other campers who have returned for many years.
If you are looking for a peaceful stay - Pensagillas is the place.
