Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2023

Very nice site right on the water. Friendly owners helpful with delivering wood to your campsite. However, there is zero privacy. Most campsites in UK are like this so this is not unique to this site but there could have a tree or two between the sites. Could hear everything from our neighbours on each side.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2023

Good campsite, would recommend to others. Would be better with a few more facilities on site but overall, we had a good weekend.

Called Yvonne to try and make a last minute booking for a mountaineering trip to the Beacon. Despite the site already being packed for a number of festivals in the area that weekend, she was extremely dedicated & accommodating, and managed to squeeze us in for the whole weekend! Very friendly and welcoming, and checked in at multiple points to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy! Travel to North Brecon's by road is around 40 - 60 minutes, With the Pen Y Fan horseshoe start-point only 45 minutes away - a perfect distance to charge your phones and battery packs in the car, and recover on the return trip! Would recommend, and will likely be back myself in the not-to-far future for more adventures.
