Would definitely recommend staying

We enjoyed a lovely short stay at Fakenham Fairways and couldn't rate it highly enough. The staff were incredibly friendly, we felt really welcome. The site was quiet and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. It's a 5-minute drive to Tescos in Fakenham and you're within half an hour of lots of popular locations (Wells, Brancaster, Holme, Holkham, Thornham etc). Having the adult-only field was fantastic for us as a young couple as it offered a quieter morning. We'd definitely look at coming back.

You sound like you made the most of the location and got out and about a lot. Relaxed site with excellent facilities

Long weekend solo stay, the site was easy to find and accessible, the team were very friendly and escorted me to my pitch. The grounds are beautifully maintained as are the facilities. I pitched on the adults field and the pitch was generous, easily fitting my tent and car with plenty of room to spread out. The only flaw with my trip was the power outage mentioned in previous reviews. The noise from the generator disturbed my sleep but even so, I look forward to coming back at some point next season.

We were gutted about the unexpected power outage caused by cable works in the next village. Running a generator wasn’t ideal, but we're grateful for everyone’s patience — and very glad we could at least keep the electric going. Fantastic campsite

My partner and I stayed with our two young children at the campsite. Jacqui and Pen were fantastic hosts, so welcoming and accommodating. There is a play park for the kids and crazy golf which Jacqui and Pen kindly let us play just after it had just closed as my daughter was upset she couldn't get to play. The campsite was a great place for the kids to meet other children and play in a safe space. Shower and toilet facilities were clean and plenty of hot water. We would definitely like to come back and stay again.

Overall, great

Very welcoming and helpful. Great for younger children. The only drawback to the location was the lack of a footpath to the local town, meaning we had to drive for a night out.

Great stay

We were only here for 2 days but will be back! The site (along with surrounding areas) unfortunately had a power cut, but we were kept informed and the situation was handled brilliantly.

Excellent stay

Would definitely recommend this site. Stayed for 6 nights on adult only pitch. Site is split between and AO section and family section with a playground. Very spacious pitch, peaceful with trees around. Facilities were very well kept and everything you could think of was catered for. Staff was always polite and very helpful. Within easy reach of the coast and plenty of other places if you want something to do. Very nice shaded dog walk through the trees. Fakenham itself a short drive away with a lovely market. Will be returning.

Lovely quiet site

Lovely, well maintained site with level pitches. Site facilities are great, loved the shower block, plenty of hot water and hairdryer. The cubicles are very spacious, with plenty of room to get dressed, good amount of hooks and storage shelves. Definitely one of the best shower blocks I've seen. I was very close to the entrance so I didn't manage to see the whole site, separate adult and family areas are a great idea. Very easy to find and a great location to explore with plenty of things to do, old or young.

Friendly and helpful owners. Modern and very clean shower blocks. The area around the bins and waste water etc also very clean. Pleasant landscaping around the site.

Absolutely perfect

This park is the cleanest, most accessible and friendly place we have ever stayed. Owner's extremely helpful, local to lots of places to visit. If you just want to chill out or putt a few balls then this is the place to stay. Highly recommend will definitely return.

Very satisfied

I was a solo traveller with two dogs and wanted a position away from others so my dogs wouldn't disturb anyone, although they were fine. Tried putting up the awning alone and asked for help and the two ladies were brilliant and we put it up together in no time. Great facilities and a quiet site, just what I wanted. Will definitely be back.

Nice, clean and tidy campsite for exploring Norfolk

Lovely campsite with clean facilities. Nice hot showers. Good value for money. Really nice owner who was very welcoming and helpful with local information. Great spot for getting out and exploring Norfolk from. Would definitely stay here again if I was to visit Norfolk in the future. Not a negative as such, as it didn't concern me too much, but for those wanting a quiet site, the site is quite near some busy roads, so road noise on the site can be quite loud.

Quiet friendly site in a good location

Site was ideal for our first touring caravan experience. Good location to explore North Norfolk. Facilities were very good and well maintained. Golf facilities were an added bonus, which I will hopefully use on our next visit.

A nice site

This was a good site - nice and clean with good facilities. The site was very quiet with many regular users in evidence. A highlight of the evening was the starling murmuration over the site, which was an added bonus.

Lovely, friendly, quiet site

We booked a short stay here fairly late in the season. From the start, communication was great. We arrived, booked in with no fuss and were soon set up. We found this site to be in a great location to be able to explore, with no more than a 30 minute drive we visited Hunstanton, Wells next to the Sea and Holkham. There are a few places to get food and groceries in nearby Fakenham (would recommend Mr chips!) The site had enough facilities even at this peak time. I think due to the amount of caravans there, it meant us campers could easily use the showers with no waiting. There is a freezer to put your freezer blocks in, the washing up area is enclosed and covered and the toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. Yes, the nearby road was noisy but not distractingly so, and the site was quiet after 10.30 as advertised. Thank you.

Explore North Norfolk

A well laid out (non-regimental) site . Trees helping to break up the landscape. Peaceful occasional road noise (not too loud) and easily adjusted to. Toilets and showers clean queuing at peak times. First impressions of entrance soon dispelled once on site.

Short stay in lovely campsite

Immaculate, well-organised campsite. Lovely welcome from host. Quiet campsite overall. We were in adults only section. There is a section for families with a playground, but that was quiet too considering it was the school holidays. Access to camp closed at 10.30 pm, which is quiet time. Nice spaced-out pitches. Both hardstanding and grass are available. New and spotlessly clean toilets and showers. Cafe on site which we didn't use. There is a lounge area in the cafe, useful for those in tents if the weather is bad. Ice packs and a fridge available also. Small dog walking area with plenty of dog bins. Overall a pleasant stay in lovely weather.

VW camper

Great location near Fakenham and lovely quiet site with lovely hosts. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Shame you can't walk into town or to a pub because of no paths on the road as we have a dog but won't put us off returning. Also can't really comment on the family camping area as we stayed on the adults only, but did have a walk round and everywhere looked really nice.
