About the site
The site is set along the edge of Powfoot Beach, a coastal escape ideal for exploring nearby towns, such as Annan (10 minutes), Dumfries (30 minutes), and Carlisle (40 minutes). After a day out, unwind at the onsite Sandpiper Cafe Bar, serving delicious food in a cosy, rustic setting, or let little ones enjoy the kids' play area or onsite seasonal entertainment. Onsite, you will find ten Dunlin electric hardstanding pitches with a grass area and seven Sandside electric hardstanding pitches with water hook ups, overlooking the coast. All of the pitches measure 4.4m x 9.2m, are equipped with a 6 amp electric hook up, and are suitable for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. Guests can choose from the ensuite glamping cabins featuring a double bed, a kitchenette, a kettle, heating, lighting, TV and fridge. Outside, enjoy a decked area with outdoor furniture to sit and soak in the views. Three of the cabins are dog friendly! Explore the Solway Coast National Landscape (AONB), a 30 minute drive away, offering scenic walks, cycle trails, birdwatching, and wildlife spotting along one of Scotland's incredible coastlines. Or Annandale Way hiking area is ten minutes away, leading to Annan town for shops and pubs. The park is dog-friendly, so up to two four-legged friends can join you. BBQs are permitted onsite, provided they are raised off the ground. Sorry, campfires are not allowed at this site.
