A great site

We chose this site as a base for attending the Shrewsbury Steam Rally and in order to visit Oswestry, Chirk Castle and Erddig. We managed to achieve all of this and to have some peaceful downtime as well. The site is well laid out with modern and clean toilet/shower facilities which, even when busy, are kept immaculately. The layout is spacious with plenty of space for children to play without being on top of other guests and there was also an interesting play area being well used by smaller folk. A major bonus was having the drinking water tap at the side of the hard standing meaning it was easy to replenish supplies (unlike on many other sites). In terms of accessibility, the site is well placed alongside the A495 and we had no issues with the journeys to/from the site. Ellesmere village is only about ten minutes away by car and offers supermarkets, shops and fuel supplies. The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful. We do intend to visit again soon.

What a beautiful campsite

What a beautiful quiet site with extra friendly owners. Will definitely be back. The owners even lent us their satellite dish to try on our TV. Very clean and well kept. Very environmentally friendly too. We wish the owners all the very best for the future We will see you soon.

Such a lovely site

Lovely site in a fantastic location for exploring the beautiful countryside. The facilities are spotless, including the doggy shower! Really friendly owners too. Would highly recommend.

Lovely walking weekend stay

A lovely farm site with brand new facilities. Public footpaths accessible direct from the site, which was perfect for the dogs! Will definitely return!

Little gem

Ellesmere has lots to offer! Lovely peaceful site. Very dog friendly - our Daisy loved it. Lyn was a wonderful host. Will be back.

One night stay

We only stayed for one night and the facilities were spotless. Lyn the owner was very helpful, I had a bolt go on my steps on the motorhome and it was no trouble at all to help. Would definitely go again and would definitely recommend, thank you.

Best campsite we stayed

What a fantastic few days we have had on this campsite, great facilities with immaculate showers and toilets with extra large pitches in beautiful surroundings with very welcoming owners. I must not forget the lovely ice cream too! This is the owner's first season, I know they have plan to add a shop which I'm sure will be fab. Well done. We wish you every success and we shall definitely be back soon.
