Fabulous campsite!
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2026 From beginning to end we had a great 3 night stay at Salcombe Regis campsite!
I had to call on route due to traffic causing delays- Stephen on the phone was lovely.
We met him in reception, he was very helpful giving us leaflets and telling us about the facilities and allocating our pitch which was easily to find.
We went for an electric hardstanding pitch for our SWB VW campervan - ample space for the van and car parked in tandem, and nice short grass alongside. The electric was a fixed rate included in booking which was great, we also had a tap on our pitch.
The facilities were spacious, clean and well maintained. Warm showers, warm water for washing up, never short of loo roll or soap. There are also 2 facility blocks meaning you didn't have to queue.
The site wasn't overly busy which was nice - it was very quiet and relaxing despite being summer holidays.
I would fully recommend the pizza van on site on Fridays and Saturdays - delicious pizza and very reasonably priced.
The campsite was very dog friendly, our dog had a great time!
The village of Salcombe Regis was very small so we didn't venture there, however there are plenty of towns and villages surrounding which have great amenities.
I would recommend the village of Beer which is very picturesque with some great pubs.
Overall, a fantastic stay with wonderful staff and great facilities! We will be back! :)

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2026 A lovely, well maintained and friendly campsite. It's nice and quiet, lots of space and a lovely dog walking area with lots of trees for shade.
Hilltop above Sidmouth
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Good location, even some sea views 🌊 in places.
A 40 minute walk, through woods, then downhill into Sidmouth (but you can always take a short taxi ride 🚕 back up!).
Lots of eating places down in the coastal town and an amazing church right in the centre ⛪️
The visiting pizza 🍕 van was a bonus on the Friday and Saturday evenings 👍😋
Great location, quiet site with plenty of facilities
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2026 I really liked Salcombe Regis Camping and Caravan Park.
Highlights for me were the spacious pitches, each with their own water supply. Also, the superb location, with many cracking walks from the site (if you don't mind hills!).
Plenty of showers and toilets (if you were happy to walk to the older style block) that were kept nice and clean and always had hot water.
Oh, and I mustn't forget the adorable donkeys at the nearby Sanctuary. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast, lunch, cake or all three!
I will definitely return.
A standard above the rest
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 We stayed here whilst visiting family in Sidmouth. Stephen’s hospitality, the site’s cleanliness, organisation and efficiency made our stay outstanding. The toilet and shower facilities are exceptional, particularly the family shower rooms. The donkey sanctuary for breakfast is perfect too!

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Lovely clean, quiet campsite in an excellent location with many beaches on your doorstep. The facilities were clean and well kept- we never had to wait for a shower or to wash up. Our children (7 and 5) loved the space to play. The staff were wondeful. We will definitely be going back.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 My partner, my 4 year old son, our dog and myself had the best time during our stay. Such a well kept, clean and tidy site. Wonderfully peaceful with a fantastic view of the sea from the site. Facilities were clean and very good, with everything you could need. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff.
Will definitely be recommending this site to others and shall return!
Visiting Simouth
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2026 Family had lived in this area and we were visiting to go where their ashes had been scattered. Superb, well organised and tranquil site. I would not like to visit when it was very busy as the toilet blocks, although well set up and clean would not cope well when the site was full. Reception was reasonably efficient and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2026 What a lovely site. Peaceful, beautiful location and well kept. Stephen the site manager was a joy to deal with, helpful and a great ambassador for the site. Toilet and shower facilities were spotless and plentiful. Didn't use anything else as our stay was fairly brief but couldn't think of anything the site didn't provide. Would definitely stay again. If walking into Sidmouth, worth asking for a local taxi number as the walk back is all uphill.
