Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent/Campervan PitchesMay 2026

We have just got back from a great weekend at Harry’s field and would definitely visit again! Perfect for families, groups of friends, and dogs. The site is just the right size with room for kids to play and a good amount of space to each pitch but not too big and busy. We had friends staying in one of the bell tents and we were given a spot right behind them which was really great! The facilities are good with warm clean showers, flushing toilets and a really useful washing up area with washing up bowls and liquid provided. The little shop has a nice range of items, and the bar in the evening had a good range of drinks, the ‘Harry’s special’ cocktail was delicious. Saturday evening we took advantage of the pizzas made on site and everyone enjoyed them, the pre order service was a great idea and ran very smoothly. The staff on site were really friendly and attentive and were always available if/when needed. They kept the site maintained well and were regularly cleaning the communal facilities. We were surprised by the fact that most campers went off site during the day, we spent the day playing games and relaxing and pretty much had the campsite to ourselves. There is a pub just before the entrance of the campsite with a big garden and outside seating area which we visited a couple of times but the rest of the time was spent enjoying being on site. Thank you so much for a great weekend, we made great memories, and my son gives his first camping experience 10/10!!

A wonderful experience

Bell Tent - Luxury Bell Tents (Dog Friendly)May 2026

As a family that have not experienced camping before, we cannot recommend this site enough! As first timers, glamping was the perfect happy medium and this site helped make it a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The bell tent was clean, the beds comfortable and the kitchen area had everything we needed. The shower and toilet facilities were close by and clean and the access to a fridge/freezer was a really helpful luxury! The shop, pizza hatch and bar were also lovely, good quality and handy to have. Location wise, we were close to some beautiful walks and lovely pubs. We highly recommend walking to the Royal Oak at gorley! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will certainly be back!
