Hill Cottage Farm Camping and Caravan Park offers the perfect base, just five minutes from the New Forest National Park. Pitch up and enjoy the 5 star experience with spacious pitches, some with hedges for privacy, along with a shepherd's hut and lodges. There is an onsite Thai takeaway/restaurant (Wednesday - Saturday), a small play park, shop, fishing lakes and dog walking trails. Alderholt is also within a 20 minute walk, home to a pub!

Lovely campsite, everything is done online (as in check in and out) so very convenient, however it is in the middle of nowhere so you will definitely need a car or bike. Pub through the wood about 15 minutes walk with a shop just a bit further on and 1 hour walk to nearest village. No buses come through the village and after speaking to reception, taxis are minimal. We had a campervan so harder but with a car it would be an amazing site.

Thank you for your review, Heidi. The village here has a shop and pub, both within walking distance. Fordingbridge, the nearest town is 50 minutes walk where you will find cafes, pubs, a range of independent shops and buses to Bournemouth and Salisbury and, in season, an open-topped tour bus for the New Forest, which you can get on and off at little villages all through the Forest.

Lovely clean campsite, easy to use the self check in. Really spacious pitch size. All facilities were clean and we did not have a problem with needing to queue for showers etc. Location good for exploring the New Forest. Would definitely visit again

We loved this park! First time visiting but won't be the last. It was quiet and very clean. All members of staff were very helpful. The gates open via ANPR which was good as we realised it would be secure.
