User friendly no frills site with ticks in all the boxes
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2026 Family oriented small campsite and nearly full. Does what it says on the tin. All the basics covered. Warden wandered over and briefed me which I thought was good. Peaceful at night. Stockbridge village/town quite picturesque and a 15 min walk - a definite plus point.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 Good communication, caring warden, flat ground, nice facilities; including a freezer for ice packs and a charging station. Visited with 6 adults for a weekend stay where we were able to enjoy the calm of the site ( quiet curfew 10pm-8am) and took the 15 minute walk into Stockbridge high street over the River Test. Overall, I thoroughly recommend Stockbridge View.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2026 We stayed for 1 night & we had all that we wanted, the toilets & showers were clean. The warden came round & made himself known pointing out the footpath to Stockbridge & other
helpful info. We had dinner st the Three Cups in Stockbridge which was excellent.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2026 Really lovely site for the price! Stockbridge is beautiful with an array of lovely little local shops, cafes and pubs. It’s got some gorgeous little streams which was perfect for the dog on a very hot day.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2026 This was my first solo camping trip so I was a little nervous. Stockbridge view is very relaxed all facilities are easy to get to and use. Mark, who stayed onsite, was really reassuring. Everyone has his number and can use for emergencies, disturbances or concerns. Not that there were any. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thanks.

It was really nice that the campsite owner & site warden came round every night to make sure everything was ok.

Lovely location but disappointing VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2026 This campsite is located in some beautiful countryside, with some great pubs and walks nearby. It is gated and is quite basic with essential facilities only.
It is next to a reasonably busy road and therefore there is some traffic noise, but it was mostly quite quiet overnight. My friend was greeted by the warden who seemed friendly and offered us logs and directions to the village.
We stayed in February after several weeks of heavy rain so everything was understandably wet. However, it was quite clear that the facilities, such as toilets and showers, are not cleaned regularly enough. It was also disappointing that dogs were allowed off lead within the site and were at times a nuisance.
Overall, it is a lovely location for a short stay but the site itself needs to be cleaned more regularly and dogs kept under control. I wouldn't return as for the price, it was not value for money.

We stopped here on our way to Devon and it was perfect. Check in until 10pm was exactly what we needed as we weren't sure what time we would get in.
Well maintained site with plenty of space and countryside views.
So happy to have stayed here.

Mark, the manager, so accommodating, friendly, nothing a bother. I would come back again.

Campsite is in an ideal location to walk into town for some great food, some nice shops and walks around the River Test.

Fabulous stay

Mark was super welcoming and fanatically helpful. The little walk into the town is perfect and the pub the three cups was highly recommended and we found out why. Lovely food and a great atmosphere.
The area has a lot to explore nearby and the town being such a short walk away is a real treat.
Saw a few comments before staying about road noise but didn't notice this at all during our stay on a busy Friday evening.
Really lovely stay and we look forward to coming back!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2025 When we arrived, we could choose anywhere in the field to put our tent ⛺️ up which is a great idea.
Facilities were lovely and clean. Owners came round and introduced themselves and had a chat. Which was lovely. Very safe for children.
The campsite did have a lot of road noise which was a shame, as it's a very busy main road.
£120. Was a brilliant price for 6 nights, everything else was free.
