Scenic and Restful

We had a wonderful stay at Fowberry Farm. The clear description on campsites.co.uk ensured we knew what to expect and so nothing came as a surprise. We had a great holiday and it was so peaceful at the farm. The kids loved camping next to the cows and seeing them every morning. We had a beautiful view of Bamburgh castle from our campervan too. The farm being so close to lots of tourist attractions and the beach meant that we had alot to see and do for our 5 and 8 year old children. We didn't see our hosts much because they were working on the farm but there were very clear instructions on where to pitch, facility usage etc. posted up. The spaces between the pitches was excellent meaning alot of privacy. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Excellent rural location ideal for Seahouses and Bamburgh Castle, also great coastal bus service.

Lovely campsite

Lovely campsite midway between Bamburgh and Seahouses, with half an hour walk to each! Lovely rural aspect on a working farm, greeted with a cow chorus each morning! Only one toilet and shower but only 8 pitches so was sufficient, good comms with owners! Really enjoyable stay would recommend as long as you like peace and quiet!

One nighter!

Lovely location for what we needed. Peace and quiet a joy. Loved the nosey neighbours (cows). Excellent VFM and facilities matched. Would stay again though! Thank you.

Camping stay

What a fantastic place for a night away! Waking up to the view of Bamburgh castle in the mist was stunning. The campsite was well maintained and adequate, although only one toilet and shower available, they were both clean. It was also lovely to share the site with two rogue sheep who clearly owned the place! Recommend coming into the campsite from the Seahouses coast road.

Lovely nice little campsite, very Cleen facilities nice and pleasant site. Plus short walk in to Banbrough.

Our wonderful stay near Bamburgh

A beautiful quiet and scenic site. Everything ready for your arrival and nothing is too much trouble. Ideally situated for a short bike ride to either Seahouses or Bamburgh. We even cancelled a forward booking to stay here an extra night.

Trip to Bamburgh

Lovely small site! Great size pitches. Shower and toilet always clean. Beautiful views of the castle. Would totally recommend

Fabulous location

This farm site was in an amazing location, but sadly, that's all I can say. The beach was an easy mile walk from the site, across fields. What a stunning beach it was too! Bamburgh and Seahouses were both within walking distance. The site itself only had one loo, one shower and one sink to wash up in. These were located within the utility area of the main house. At times, there were about 11 units on site and about 20 + people - all sharing one loo and shower. I don't think these were cleaned daily. I felt like I was pitched on the turning circle of someone's driveway (or on a traffic island) although the grass pitches around the edge had fab views so make sure you request one of these! - pitch 2 looked perfect! All in all, not a bad stay, and great for exploring the coast.

Rural farm stay

Lovely setting on a working farm 8 pitches good sizes. Didn’t see anyone from the farm as details of plot and backs details were left on the door for you. The only thing against this site I would say was only 1 toilet and 1 shower. There was a sink to wash up your dishes but you had to boil a kettle to get hot water.

Not easy to get to

This is a lovely clean & peaceful site with beautiful views of Bamburgh Castle. However, the road in is extremely narrow which makes towing a 7ft caravan very difficult, especially if another car came the other way as there is nowhere for you to go. When we arrived, nobody was around & by chance I saw a bit of A4 paper on a window with surnames & pitch numbers on. Nothing was sign posted, so we had to ask another camper where the toilets, water & the Elsan were. There is only 1 toilet & a wet room which were both clean but a very dated. Again, by chance, I saw another A4 paper on a pinboard next to the toilet with bank details on to pay for the rest of our stay. The owners were around & about on the site, but not once did they speak to us or even acknowledge we were there. This is not a site we would return to.

Fowberry Farm Camping

In a picturesque location between Bamburgh and Seahouses with lovely walks to both which we both enjoyed . We would definitely want to come back in the future.

Hidden gem

Such a lovely site with views of Bambirgh castle. Host said hello when we arrived and it was so quiet, met the locals, herd of cows in the field next to us, will definitely be back highly recommend this little gem of a site

A tranquil site with wonderful views

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly and helpful people. Fantastic quiet site surrounded by wonderful countryside and views of Bamburgh Castle

Lovely spot

This is a lovely little site on a working farm. Small and friendly, quiet. A 15 min walk to the amazing Northumberland coast and fabulous beaches. Thoroughly recommend

Just what we wanted, quiet site in a great location

Farm stay

This site is brilliantly placed for walks into Bamburgh and Seahouses, and the buses run along the main road a few minutes from the campsite. Being away from town and city lights, the night sky was lovely. It had rained very heavily and it was a chilly Nov so although we had hard standing and the walk to the loo from our spot was over grass, the site was muddy, being in the middle of a busy working farm. It was good to have a loo and the shower was lovely and hot, but visits there were a bit on the chilly side. The cows were brought in on our second night to a barn next to the site and were surprisingly noisy all night, but this is a working farm.

Nice and quiet

Owners very accommodating, small farm site , plenty of space between pitches, very quiet. Can easily walk to the castle, coastal path and Seahouses. A good site, thank you!

Quiet site

Lovely peaceful site with great views across the fields to Bamburgh Castle. You are on a working farm, so please don't expect 5 star facilities, but the facilities are adequate and kept clean.

Great location

As a working farm the facilities are exactly what we expected without the frills. A lovely clean site, with outstanding views all around you. The pathway from the site to the beach was a tad confusing and we ended up on someone else's land, but no harm done and we quickly back tracked to ask another camper on our site the right path to follow. We had a fantastic time.

Beautiful setting

A great little quiet site overlooking Bamburgh Castle. Nice wet room and a very peaceful place to stay, on a lovely working farm. Would definitely use again.

Would come back again

It's a working farm, grounds were lovely, everything was there that we needed. Didn't meet the owners as didn't want to bother them as we're working but had a lovely view of Banbrough castle and lovely waking up with baby lambs. Hard standings were great, would come back again, very quite small site.

Peaceful

Excellent small site, everything you need. Working farm, but absolutely no noise whatsoever. So peaceful and quiet, recommend this site and will be back.
