About the site

This well-manicured site is surrounded by hedging, flowers and leafy cherry trees, making it a pretty spot to pitch up and explore Southern Scotland. You'll be just a five minute walk from Gretna village, where there are shops, pubs and cafes to enjoy. There are electric and serviced hardstanding pitches on offer, with the electric pitches having a 16 amp electric hook-up and measuring 5m x 13m. These pitches are suitable for caravans, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and RVs. There are also holiday lodges onsite. Take a short walk into town or order a delivery to your pitch for your evening meal. Or for those on a romantic break, explore Gretna Green as a wedding destination, famed as the "marriage capital of the UK". There is also a good bus service that runs to Dumfries and Carlisle near the park entrance. Dogs are welcome to join you for your break too, with up to four permitted per pitch! Please keep dogs on a lead at all times. Sorry, campfires are not permitted. You are welcome to have a BBQ, but please ensure it is raised from the ground and supervised at all times. Please note that it is recommended that you bring a torch as parts of the site are unlit.

Braids Caravan Park is open all year round. Pitches from £30/night for 2 people.
