About the site
Set on a working farm, guests can enjoy the clucking of chickens and the background buzz of a real farm going about its business. Named after the famous Anglo-Saxon estate, a short walk will take you to the National Trust site which is home to a royal burial site, precious artefacts and a historical ship. The site is home to 20 serviced 10m x 12m grass pitches with optional 16 amp electric. All allow tents, tourers and RVs with up to six guests. Located just off a B road, guests can enjoy easy access to many of Suffolk's most popular destinations. It's ten minutes in the car from Rendlesham Forest, great for walking your pup or 20 minutes from Orford and 25 minutes from Framlingham. Evenings can also be best spent cooking up a BBQ, as long as it is raised from the ground. There is also a selection of fire pits available to hire with wood for sale. Dogs are welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch.
