Cwmtydu Caravan Site Certificated Location is a quiet little site, set near the beach in Cwmtydu, in reach of New Quay and Cardigan Bay. Discover local award winning beaches, waterfalls in the ancient fern covered National Trust woodland, and amazing walks along the Ceredigion Coast Path for miles and miles. Watch the red kites, spot dolphins and seals, swim in the sea, and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

About the site

This is a little caravan site in Cwmtydu, Cardigan Bay. Fenced off within the field, it is located next to National Trust owned land between Nanternis and Cwmtydu. It's set by the coastal village of Llangrannog and the seaside town of New Quay is just a 10 minute drive away. Beaches start less than a mile from site. Here you'll find a tranquil half acre CL, set in a two acre field on a quiet eight acre smallholding. The five grass pitches are tucked away in a site lined with damsons, sloes and the odd sea view. All pitches have electric hook-ups. This is the place for tempting sea views and inspiring, Dylan Thomas style countryside. In this escape you can wind down, chill out, and enjoy a real holiday

Things to do on site and in the New Quay area

This is a site for nature lovers. Relaxing pastimes in the area include rambling, birdwatching and swimming. You'll find secret smuggler's beaches, waterfalls in ancient woodland, rare birds and butterflies all within walking distance - and that's the only way you will find some of them.

There are lots of quiet and empty beaches to explore - no hustle and bustle here! It's less than a mile to the beaches of Cwmtydu, Castell Bach and Cwm Silio on the coast where you might be able to spot dolphins and seals.

For something a bit more active, water sports are available nearby and the Sealife Centre at New Quay is a good trip out.

Llangrannog is the local village and the seaside town of New Quay is just a 10 minute drive away. You can walk along the Ceredigion Coast Path to both places. Other nearby coastal towns include Aberaeron, Mwnt, Penbryn and the other beautiful gems within Cardigan Bay.
