The name Trwyn yr Wylfa means 'watching point' - and the site is exactly what the name suggests! Set on ten acres of land surrounded by glorious sea and mountain views, it is a stunning spot for a relaxing getaway. Campers and tourers are welcome on grass and hardstanding pitches with the option of electric. Just a 15 minute walk from the beach and within Snowdonia National Park, it's the perfect base for exploring North Wales.

This was our first venture out in our T25 and we could not have chosen a better location. From the initial welcome from Kerry (warden) to leaving, we cannot fault this site. Breathtaking sea and mountain views. Lovely clean facilities, good paddock for dog to snoop around! Carl (warden) was so helpful with his knowledge of getting our awing in right position! ( very much appreciated). Very friendly area, we enjoyed a walk to The Gladstone Hotel and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the lovely staff, also dog friendly throughout. Gareth, the owner is very welcoming and knowledgeable about area. The small town is also worth a walk for a coffee & cake!

Beautiful campsite and spacious pitches with water & electric. Wi-Fi hit and miss, not reliable and toilets/showers basic, but very clean.
Great Campsite, great facilities, amazing staff!

We were very impressed by everything at the site. The toilets and showers were very clean and modern. The kitchen facilities were spotless, and there was even lockers to charge your phone, they had thought of everything! One of our tent poles snapped on our last night, and the ranger came up and helped us fix it. He and the other staff were helpful and lovely. Would definitely go again x

Staff on entry was lovely, the facilities and showers were well kept and very homely, the phone service was good and the views were amazing! I felt so peaceful and was happy to stay there all day despite there being things like a beach and pub in the local area I could go to.

Absolute fantastic campsite. Very quiet at night and friendly staff. The toilets and showers were great and really clean. My only slight grumble was we were on a none electric pitch which was quite a walk from the toilets and coming back to tent was a little bit of a steep walk but was worth it as our view of the sea and sunset was stunning! We will be coming back. Thank you.

Welcomed on arrival and staff were friendly and helpful. My pitch had a fantastic view of the sea and plenty of space and privacy between pitches. All facilities clean and well maintained, but the toilet block a little small. Useful extras are a dog shower with warm water and charging lockers. The site is well managed and organised and I will definitely visit again. Site location good for walking, lots of well marked trails leading off into the hills and down to the coasts. Would recommend.

It's a gem of a place. The pitches are spacious with all the facilities any person/couple/family could want. The staff are welcoming and helpful and whilst I understand the few negative comments regarding the noise from the A55, the truth is that the road noise is only apparent at busy times and when the wind is in a certain direction and even then, the birdsong is much more noticeable, so unless you are extremely sensitive to road noise, I wouldn't give it a second thought. In summary, it's a great place with great staff 👍

This site has fabulous views. We were welcomed by friendly staff. Very clean facilities, a little noise heard from the main road but not really a problem. About 30 minute walk to the pebbly beach but be aware of the steep hills walking back.

Beautifully kept campsite, the most gorgeous views of the sea and spotless showers/toilets. Haven't got a bad word to say about anything, would definitely come again and have recommended to my parents as they also do a lot of camping trips.

This is hands down the best campsite I've ever visited! The facilities were immaculate and impressively modern. From the moment we arrived, the owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We stayed at one of the non-electric pitches at the back, which offered a breathtaking view of the sea and stunning sunsets. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's a bit of a hilly walk to reach the facilities, but the view more than makes up for it—just something to consider if you're not keen on a bit of uphill walking. The site is also extremely dog-friendly and conveniently close to Eryri National Park. I'll definitely be back!

On a incline. Toilets and showers some of the best I've seen on campsite. Like staying in a hotel. Very clean. Some of the non electric pitches on steep slope.

The campsite was lovely- spacious plots. We had hedges between our plots so felt as though we had more privacy which was great! The toilet/shower block was perfect - very clean. The views were just stunning! Our first stop on our tour of Wales and it was breathtaking.

This is a beautiful site. Spacious pitches. Well maintained and excellent facilities. Warm welcome and helpful staff on site. Downside is location closeness to the North Wales expressway and traffic noise. Views are amazing when on site but step outside the site and the road becomes predominant feature. Shame, as this separates the town from the beach.

Had a wonderful few days at the site. Brilliant for walking with direct access to Tyhe Hills. Superb views and a reasonable pub not far away, (walkable). The staff were welcoming and the facilities spotlessly clean. My one criticism is that they were draughty and if the weather had not been so kind, they would have been cold.
