Clear filters Fantastic stay
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pods (Optional Two Person Hot Tub, Dog Friendly) Oct 2023 This pod was really clean and warm, everything was easy accessible, the local area was fantastic.
The hot tub was good once we figured out how to work it properly. the only thing I would say is if you like sleeping with two pillows, take some with you. Not sure if we could of asked for some but it was definitely needed. The pod is located about 40/60 minutes away from the Sill, which is a car park that is within a stone's throw away from Hadrian's Wall. It's close to Carlisle which has a really cool castle and military museum. The King's Arms Inn (that is 5 minutes of a walk from the pod) is friendly and warm and sells some really good food.

I'm 100% sure I gave you a basic run through regarding the hot tub, best endeavours we do for every guest on arrival. They are, by nature, a facility that you have to engage with.
We only provide two pillows (you should have asked as we would have provided two extra) and it is difficult to cover everyone's individual need. The majority of guests bring what they feel they need for a self catering stay. Also, we have additional charges for housekeeping for extra pillows to consider.

Weekend stay
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pods (Optional Two Person Hot Tub, Dog Friendly) Aug 2023 Fantastic weekend break, the place is beautiful and very clean. Lots of places to visit and so relaxing. The dogs also had a wonderful time and very safe for them. Will definitely go again.

Gorgeous getaway weekend!!
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pods (Optional Two Person Hot Tub, Dog Friendly) Jun 2023 We stayed in the Acremire pod having travelled up late on Friday night.
Barry was extremely attentive although we missed our check in time. We were shown our pod and given instructions on how to work the hot tub. The pod was beautifully designed and once we figured out how to use the hot tub it was a lovely addition!
We would definitely recommend this for a romantic weekend away for two.

Glamping pods

A very nice, clean and quiet place to stay
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pod (Optional Four Person Hot Tub, Dog Friendly) May 2023 Beautiful location, very clean and comfy pods. We have had a lovely break, thank you. It is quite a long distance to the nearest shop so do recommend being well prepared if you come, especially with little kids 🙂

Puts the glam in glamping
Camping Pod - Adult Only Ensuite Glamping Pods (Optional Hot Tub) May 2023 They certainly put the glam in glamping.
The pod had everything we needed, it was super comfy and spotlessly clean. The site was peaceful. Barry greeted us and explained everything, saying he and his wife were on hand if we needed anything. We booked the hot tub for use during our stay. We had difficulty keeping it alight so only got to use it once, in not very warm water, but that's probably down to us not being au fait with a log-burning tub system.
I'd definitely recommend Wallsend to all. If we revisit the area, I'd definitely stay there again. As a result of this stay, I am a glamping convert. I just hope all other sites are as great as Wallsend.

Thank you Alison for the kind review and feedback. The wood burning hot tub in its design does need the time to manage it to temperature. But hopefully your next stay it would not put you off using one again, it does get easier :)

A beautiful stay

Quiet getaway on the Solway Coast
Nov 2022 We had the loveliest short break here. Enjoyed the hot tub, star gazing & the most beautiful walks around the site. A dream for outdoor enthusiasts, couples & dog owners. We can’t recommend this place enough.
