VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Vw caddy campervan, first time out for two older people with a dog, really felt welcome and enjoyed surroundings. Lovely site under the trees with awning, good facilities, nice and clean plenty of hot water. Had a great time just chilling.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Amazing & friendly hosts. Made sure we had everything we needed and relocated us to be along side our group. Shower, toilets & washing up areas clean the entire stay! Play area next to facilities. Next to a busy main road but didn't really notice much sound during the night. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area. Thank you :)

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

What a little gem this campsite is! Clean toilets and showers, use of a freezer and an electric kettle if required. Great pitch for our tent although I have to say, it was very noisy at night due to the closeness of the A27 behind us. However, I stuck bog roll in my ears on the 2nd night and I slept fine! It wouldn't deter me from going back again as it was a great place for my 11 year old daughter and her friend to run about and explore. Evee, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming and happy to answer any questions.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

We have just returned from a family weekend away, the campsite was welcoming. Evee and the staff were really friendly and helpful, it was the first time camping for our "grand dog" and although there was a few "wobbles" on her first night in a tent, but by night 2 she absolutely smashed it. There were other dogs on the site and she was very excitedly barking but the "quiet by 10pm " rule seemed to work for everyone! The pitch was huge and located in the trees which kept the tent at a pleasant temp and with only 20 pitches, there was plenty of room for everyone. The toilets and showers were always clean and the staff were regularly cleaning them, for anyone with walking difficulties there is even a wet room which was a really lovely inclusive touch 👍 The only downside (and it is really small in comparison to the amazing plus points!) is it backs on to the A27, which is really busy all night and so there is traffic noise if you are a light sleeper. If you are on the far side of the campsite, I'm sure this is hardly noticeable. Thank you Evee and your team - Lorraine, Neil, Rian, Hattie and Bonnie the sausage dog x

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

Very early check out time meant leaving a day early, as packing down damp tents is not advisable! The site was ok. Basic, you get what you pay for... (except your last night!) Good location. Amenities basic & small!

An excellent place to stay

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

This is an excellent place to stay if you are doing a short stay. The reason I say short stay is because there is only 2 showers and 2 toilets but a third if you include the disabled shower room (you can use this). The ground I found was too hard with rubble an inch or so down so the pegs would not stay in the ground, thankfully no real strong winds as it would have lifted (the awning did come out midnight one night). The owners are so polite and helpful, its very clean and a lot of pride has gone into the site. It was about a 30min walk to a little cafe in the village but possibly too far for other things if you have kids in tow. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would go back for another short stay. It was very clean and very peaceful. The owners had a communal fridge and kettle to use which I thought was a lovely perk. They could do with sorting the ground a little more. You can also rent out a fire pit and buy logs for £10, which was wonderful.

Nice location for Arundel and Littlehampton

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Nice having a pitch under the trees. Nice location and was peaceful, although was by a road but we didn't mind that. It was a nice touch having the pitches in the shade under trees, a woodland feel. The toilets and shower facilities were very small with only two, there was a lot of queuing for the bathroom and shower and the shower only last 30 secs before going off and you had to keep pushing the button to keep it on. With better facilities, it would be a nice site for everyone for a few nights away to ensure the town and beaches nearby.

Site's response

Hi Claudette Thank you for your comments, the queues for the showers are a little unavoidable at busy times unfortunately, as you say I only have limited room. I am governed on my facilities by the local authority which drives me as mad as it did you however I'm bound by the rules. The push button on the showers is purely because when they were free flowing they would be left on incurring huge running costs as you can imagine. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Old Farm and hope to see you again soon, Regards Evee

Good location near Arundel. 10 min cab ride into town. Had a nice plot. Could just do with more toilet and shower facilities.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

What a brilliant time we had at Old Farm Camp and touring site! The owner was such a lovely lady and really very helpful. The whole site was so well maintained and really clean. All the kids loved playing in the woods and on the green in the middle it was the perfect place for the kids from all the pitches to get together and run wild and have fun! Would highly recommend and will definitely come back again!

Thank you for your lovely review Victoria.

This campsite is very good for children. The layout allows for a central area for children to play in a safe open area together, whilst allowing campers their individual space. Our grandson also enjoyed the dedicated playground area. We arrived very late on our first evening & Evee was very accommodating in greeting us and showing us to our pitch. Evee was also very helpful in locating an item our grandson left behind after our visit. The campsite is very convenient for Arundel and visiting surrounding coastal resorts. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Beautiful and secure site

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

Beautiful and secure (with coded access gate) site with pitches tucked in the shade under oak trees, family friendly and helpful staff (especially Terry 😁) and WiFi available for those who need to keep early rising kiddos quiet in mornings 😊 Couple of points to improve would be a privacy blind on the disabled toilet door and a curtain or similar to pull across the front of the disabled toilet as when showering you feel exposed in spite of the frosted glass (it's obvious to anyone looking in that someone is nude and showering 🫣) and the spray from the shower gets all over the toilet and toilet roll. Ladies and gents toilets and showers are tightly packed in and claustrophobic with only 2 of each in an est. 2m x 4m space. Also it's not very clear when booking that you will need an extra long hook-up cable for electric as the post is at least 10-15 meters from the pitches depending on which pitch you're on. However, the site does offer extension cables if you need them for a deposit (depending who you speak to, we were told non-refundable others had their money back) of £5. Close to Littlehampton beaches, amusements, pedalo and crabbing pond. Also nearby are Arundel Castle, The Weald and Downland living museum (where BBC's The Repair Shop is filmed) and lots of other places to explore.

Site's response

Hi Christine Thank you for your review , the disabled toilet situation duly noted and will be improved hopefully by the time of your next visit! The size of the shower/toilet block is unfortunately governed by the local authority so is difficult to do anything about which is immensely frustrating. Electrics however are more involved, most people have 15/25m leads so it isn't an issue normally but for that reason we do have the leads for loan. Hope to see you again soon, Regards Evee

Small, well run site, well laid out. Perfect for families

Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

We are used to wild or remote camping, and the site was full. Even so, the lay out, around a central open area with woodland behind (ideal for those quick 'tactical' walks for dog owners) gave a feeling of space and peace. Beautifully maintained site with fire pits available and facilities close enough to all pitches but tucked away so that you wouldn't know they were there.

Good location for cycling around the South Downs

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2025

The site was easy to get to for a motorhome- no narrow lanes to worry about. Good spot for cycling, friendly place. Is also great for families who just want a camping experience. Plenty of space to play. Would go again to this site as we enjoy cycling.

Great place to stay - central location

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2025

Great place to stay. Yes it's by the A27 which never goes quiet but you somehow get used to it. Only thing I would say would be great is if you had a fence or something up to separate you from your neighbour for a little more privacy as you do get people walking behind your caravan and by the side of you but it's not that big of a deal at the end of the day and I would definitely stay there again. There is a large green for kids to play on in the centre and a play park too. Facilities are ok and suitable for everyone. Make sure you take cash to pay the remaining balance.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

Flat site. Washing/toilet facilities fine if small and a bit inadequate for the numbers we saw at the weekend. We were on plot 7 and on that side the A27 road noise is loud and unrelenting, ear plugs essential.

A lovely place

Small Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

It's a lovely camping place close to a lot of things people may want to do - Arundel castle, the beaches, a big town, a lot of good walks and hikes, and many great cafes and restaurants. The site itself is nice, the pitches are well shaded but with plenty of sun. The ground for our specific pitch was a bit hard but workable and didn't detract from the place. Facilities are what you should expect from any camping place really: they're there, they work, they are clean but they have some insect friends watching you do your business. There's no real way to stop it happening. The owner is also quite a nice and helpful lady.

Very good campsite

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesJul 2025

We had a lovely stay at Old Farm Campsite and would definitely book again. The site is beautifully kept, with tree-lined pitches that give a peaceful, private feel. Although it’s a smaller campsite, it never felt cramped — just the right size to feel relaxed while still having everything you need close by. The facilities were excellent — modern, clean, and well maintained throughout our stay. It’s clear the staff take pride in the site, and they were always helpful and attentive when we had any questions or needed assistance. One of the highlights for us was the space available for children. There’s a great play area, and the open grassy space gave the kids plenty of freedom to run around safely and happily. The only slight downside was the traffic noise from the nearby road, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. We’ll simply request a pitch on the quieter side next time, as that seems like an easy fix. Overall, Old Farm is a great choice for families or anyone looking for a clean, friendly, well-organised campsite in a lovely setting. It ticked all the boxes for us and made for a really enjoyable break.

Perfectly located for quick access to Arundel

The campsite is well maintained with spacious pitches, clean facilities and good size central play area for children. This is a good base for quick access to Arundel and the South Downs. The host, Evee, is very responsive to emails and is present on site to help answer queries.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJul 2025

We stayed for two nights to visit local sites which was close by. The toilet and shower block were small but adequate and clean. We were greeted at the gate and was shown to our pitch. Water and electricity was accessible and the toilet and showers were close by and very clean.

Beautiful kept site

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

Very clean, well kept site with individual pitches. The toilets and showers were very clean and the picnic tables are a nice touch. Great being able to arrive at 10am gives you almost another full day. Road noise (A27) was the only downside. Nice walk to the village and the pub. The Forge shop and tea room well worth a visit.

Excellent campsite

Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesJul 2025

My partner and I decided on a quick weekend get away, and booked last minute. And omg what a find, old farm campsite is a quite beautiful place run by the owner Eve and her two on site managers Ruth and Terry. ( who are very friendly and approachable for anything we needed) The facilities where clean and well looked after, the showers where nice and hot no matter what time of day. There is a free freezer to freeze ice blocks, on tap supply of water on your pitch, electric gate with code to get in and out of the site, ( which made us feel safe) and the option to have a fire pit (which made our nights ) and felt like real camping. You can buy fresh laid eggs on site too. We have no children but a lovely playground area for children to play or a massive green for cricket football ect and you can see you children play at all times. This site is a very dog friendly site and our little George loved every minute here just like us. We can't thankyou enough for a very enjoyable weekend. And we have all ready booked again so see you soon 😊
