Bunchrew Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Oct 2026 2nd time here. Fabulous location by the river. Facilities spotless and a lovely man on reception
Did what was required Recommends site
Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Oct 2026 No issues or worries. We arrived late due to traffic so the reception was closed, but instructions were posted that were easy to follow.
The site location is great, and whilst basic, facilities covered what we needed for a one night stop.
I would use again if I return to the area.
Wonderful Recommends site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 Always have a lovely stay everywhere is well equipped for what you need including a lovely view. Often stay due to visit friends who moved to Inverness in Feb. Will book again next year when the weather improves.
Lovely site, great location Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 Firstly, Simon, what a great host, very friendly and helpful, showed us where our pitch was and all the facilities. He kept us amused watching him riding his scooter around the site at all times of the day.
The site itself is in a great location alongside the Beauly Firth, quiet and peaceful and the views were wonderful.
Only a minor issue, the shower facilities could do a little update, they're a little rustic. Also there could be more hard standings for campervans and caravans.
Like I said, minor issues, we would return again and stay.
Great Campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 Great campsite with excellent service and great staff
Beautiful location. Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 This site is set in a beautiful location on the shores of the Beauly Firth , just 3 miles outside of Inverness. The views are stunning looking out across the Firth and East beyond the bridge out towards the Moray Firth. The sun rise was beautiful. The facilities on site are perfect, toilet & shower blocks, pot wash, laundry, all clean. We wish we had more than 2 nights stop here and will definitely be back. The owner and staff are lovely people. Thank you .
Over night stopover Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-maintained place to relax. The site was spotless, with clean toilets and hot showers. The pitches were spacious and well laid out, giving you plenty of space and a lovely view. Would definitely recommend it anyone.
Great campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 We were only there for one night, but the owner was super helpful. The showers were a little dated, but extremely clean! Loved our stay.
A lovely site close to Inverness Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 A lovely site with great views.
Great location Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 My Brother and I stayed here for 4 nights in a tent, perfect location, stunning views and very quiet most of the time.
The guys who run this site are very friendly, helpful and always doing their best to keep things running smoothly, from welcoming new guests, keeping the site clean and tidy and general duties too,
the toilets and showers were always clean, the little shop/office has the basics if you run short and there is quite a few local shops about 5 minutes drive away too.
Nice quiet site Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 Nice site with basic amenities
Close to Inverness Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 We have used this Caravan Park as the start point for our NC500 experience. Good site with all required amenities to get away. Good place but a bit remote to Inverness though.
Couple camping Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 Great site for camping, about a 10 minute drive to Inverness. The view over the water was spectacular.
Plenty of toilets and showers. Very clean and well maintained. There is a pot washing place and a laundry. There is an on site shop, it was a little sparse, but ok.
The site was busy so quite noisy at night. There is a food truck advertised, but this has just closed for the season.
Final leg of NC500 Honeymoon Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 Campsite is tired and dated. Shop facilities are poor and expensive.
Pitches are all jumbled up with statics and tourers mixed up with each other. Telephone box on site full of rubbish and cobwebs notice board definitely needs a sort out.
On a positive note, campsite is easy to find relatively close to Inverness, although road is not safe to walk on. Views are stunning over Beauly Firth. There was no food on site at time of stay, although Just Eat offered a variety of meals to be delivered to site.
If it was just a one night stopover, it would be alright, but certainly not long term if you are in a camper/motorhome.
Lovely spot Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 Great site with lovely views out over the water. Good on site small shop for bits n bobs. Staff were great and pitch was level. Nothing in close vicinity without driving so make sure you have everything you need upon arrival. Would use again in the future.
First class Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 The campsite was perfect. It really was.
Unfortunately on the first night it was heavy rain and super windy. My airbed kept going down as I was in a tent with two wee dogs. So I had to leave the next morning as I couldn't walk from aches of laying in the ground. But I intend to definitely go back to the campsite! But it won't be in a tent!
I highly recommend Bunchrew campsite.
Great location for an Inverness visit Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2026 Reception closed at 6.00pm before we arrived at 6.20, and weren't really sure where to park. Had a drive around and parked in what looked like a free space. Pitches not clearly marked or numbered and not all with easy to reach electric points.
Showers basic although water nice and warm. Could do with some wooden slat boards to stand on with the wet floors. Toilets basic and clean. Pot wash basic facilities and chemical disposal basic too.
Pleasant enough campsite if a bit haphazard.
Safle hyfryd - Lovely site. Recommends site

Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Amazing set up, midgey free and staff really friendly
Stunning views Recommends site
Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Amazing views, plenty of space to setup although this was the end of season. Clean toilets and showers. My only criticism would be that reception/shop closes at 6.
AMAZING Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Amazing the guy behind the counter was awesome and helpful and informative with our trail :)
