Great little site

Great site and lovely scenic views of mountains but WiFi and mobile signal is very limited on the site. Everything else was great

AMAZING

Where do I start, let’s start by saying how welcoming the ladies where on the reception, explained everything very clear. The pitch size was perfect for my 6 birth trailer tent and awning, the site guys always were very welcome and supportive helping explains how the pitches work etc. all site staff was always smiling and always happy to help, the showers were spot on toilets very clean even the ones in the camping fields. The views where amazing, the rules on site stuck to by everyone on site, we left site at 1130pm and retuned at 830am after our climb of snowdon, we was able get to sleep though the day, this just shows how quite and chilled the site is. The food on site is amazing and great prices. Will 1000% be staying there again not once maybe many many more times. Thank you to all the stuff for making me and my guys very welcome. The Taylor’s.

Fantastic!

Fantastic family and pet friendly campsite with great modern facilities that provide everything you need, all the staff were very friendly and approachable. We were gutted to leave! Would definitely recommend and we cannot wait for our next stay!

Ticks all the boxes

Fantastic camp site situated close to the beach, short drive from Porthmadog. I wanted a campsite to base from so i could explore the area, this place ticks the boxes. The price is spot on, the friendly welcome, great takeaway food if you don’t want to cook, new shower block was spot on. I belive there are also plans to build more facilities, which will I’m sure enhance the stay. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely camping site

Camping site had its great location near Black Rock Sand where you can park on the beach. Staff very friendly, there are beautiful showers and toilets next to the entrance. These are located closer to the caravan/campervan area. It would be nice to have the same facilities near the electric hook up tent area. There are toilets with sink but they're so small, I had to keep doors open as I'd hit my knees. The floor was always dirty in these toilets, washing up area for dishes wasn't clean either with bits of food people left behind. Bonus was drinking tap water and food shack on site.

Great up and coming place

First time in our new campervan. We wanted a site as close to the beach as possible. Although this site doesn't have sea views, it's pretty close. Good pitch sizes, clean showers, plenty toilets, attentive staff, great pizza served in the evening at the grill. 5 min drive to beach, 5 min drive to shop and chippy. I feel from experience (tent) the £40 was a little steep as I've seen others cheaper, but also perhaps with not as many facilities. However, for us, the grill etc were an added extra rather than a necessity xx

Lovely place to stay

Lovely campsite, with everything you need receptionist was very helpful. Definitely be going back to stay, loved the food hut so convenient!

Great location

The site was in a great location, with really easy access to lots of places in the surrounding area. The staff were friendly, and the facilities were good, clean and well maintained. The only real let-down for us was that the site advertises itself as being for couples and families and states that groups aren't allowed, which was actually one of the reasons we chose to book here. Unfortunately, we had groups camping all around us who were playing music late into the evening and being loud until all hours. This made it difficult to relax and wasn't really the quiet, family-friendly atmosphere we were expecting based on how the site is advertised. It's a shame, as otherwise we really liked the site and its location.

Better than expected

Lovely campsite in a better than expected location. Food truck on site which was unexpected, very handy indeed. Lovely, clean shower and toilet block, Beautiful beach 5 minutes away by car, you can drive straight onto the beach. It's stunning. Porthmadog is a 10 minute drive, and Criccieth is 15 minute drive, this is also a beautiful place with lush restaurant on the front. Bit pricey but food is fab. Just an amazing location. Definitely be back.

Great stay

We had a great stay ! The camp site is lovely, the toilets and showers were very clean! I was camping with my parents in their 70s , they also enjoyed the camping field and the site.

Just wi-fi missing, everything else is 5 stars

Electric pitch

Very friendly staff, they were always around. The main toilets and showers were always clean and very nice I saw the cleaner there very often. Everything you need is there. We hired a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and keeping warm. the pancakes and pizzas on site was perfect.

Location excellent, staff very helpful and facilities very good.

great location, Black Rock Sands 15min walk away. Staff were very helpful and friendly, couldn't have been any more accommodating. Site is quite big so some pitches may not be ideal for you but don't let that put you off; speak to the staff who are happy to help you. Toilet & Shower block undergoing major upgrades, they looked very good even if they weren't quite finished. We enjoyed our stay there (albeit only a single night) and would happily return.

Great stay - would recommend

Very good campsite. Toilets/showers were very clean and tidy. Cleaned regularly - had no problems. They even have hairdryers to use at no charge! Great to have drinking water taps close by and a food truck that catered kindly to my vegan diet. The scenery was beautiful and location was ideal.

Unfinished

Can only be described as unfinished, from the very minute of arriving and the underwhelming welcome to the unfinished site. Showering facilities (although they were clean), to the full bucket for toilet waste. Not worth the £45 we paid for a grass pitch with EHU for a 7m motorhome. The lack of other motorhomes should have sent a warning, won't be back.

Review

We had booked this because of proximity to Black Rock sands but wished we had booked one of the sites next to the beach instead. A bit of a soulless vibe, especially on the tourer field where toilets were more like a festival site. Main shower block was great and clean, but toilets and washing up on field were not. Definitely not value for money considering what we paid for other sites.

Quite weekend away

Great site with good security. Quiet with excellent facilities and really nice shower and washrooms. Grill on site is an excellent addition as well.

Stay

Waste facilities were totally unacceptable. To empty your toilet waste was a wheelie bin buried in the ground with a tap next to it. No internet at all. No campsite layout given. No one at reception on arrival and confusion of booking when they eventually arrived.

Nice site

The site is in a perfect location for exploring north wales, black rock sands beach is 15min walk away which is stunning 3 miles of coastline, Porthmadog and Cricceith are well worth a visit, we walked to both along the coast line which was lovely. The site itself has just had a brand new toilet and shower block which has been done to a high standard, we staying in the camping feild towards the back of the site, we had EHU and the owners had just build the “Grill House” which opened every morning and evening serving breakfast cobs, coffee, pizzas, crepes and a lot more. We enjoyed our stay here and would go back.

Excellent site with all the standards you need to make it a successful site and stay. Quite time was respected by all campers on site 👍 I will be definitely going to be back in the near future. Well done to all staff Around the site and reception staff, professional outfit.
