Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 Had a great stay at Elm Cotttage and would definitely stay again. Very clean, lovely people and everything you need is there.
Paused visit Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Had to postpone our visit due to circumstances beyond our control, but the owners were very good to the fact that they have held our booking for 12 months, so will be going early next year most probably.
Great four days camping
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Lovely and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for getting to Chester, Wales and other areas. Shops nearby. Only bad point, there is a little traffic noise from the nearby road which starts quite early.
Excellent site and excellent staff
Aug 2022 Just back from our third stay at Elm Cottage.
As previously, we were extremely happy with the site, the staff and the pitches. The wardens are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had an issue with the electrics on our Caravan and were put in touch with a local mechanic who fixed the problem same day. The site and the facilities are immaculate. It is the people who make the place and the wardens are superb people who engage with everyone. It is really, really dog friendly and our dog, Misty, loved the on site dog walk and numerous local walks as well as the fussing from people onsite. Every Friday night there are oven baked pizzas, which are really tasty and good value for money. All in all, Elm Cottage is thoroughly deserving of its five star reviews and we will definitely be back soon.

Excellent place to stay
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Super clean campsite with really helpful friendly staff.
Loved the extra touches, like the pizzas made on site on Friday evenings. Showers and bathroom block was kept immaculate, even when the site was crammed at the weekend. Very flexible policy on EV charging which we appreciated a lot.
Only downside for us with two young children was that the site was noisy at the weekend until curfew at 11pm. Staff assured us that they were spoken to and if they did not quieten down, they could be blacklisted. Good to hear they take that kind of stuff seriously.
