Motorhome - Hardstanding Pitches with Optional ElectricJul 2026

Lovely location with onsite food van which we didn't try as only there for a night, but looked tasty. Went to hotel next to campsite for food and warmth, which was nice. Handy Spar next to it as well. Good location for going over to Skye or Plockton. Poor Wi-Fi at campsite, but just a quick stopover and was ok for this.

Good overall

VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Pitches with Optional ElectricJun 2026

We were happy with the site itself on the whole. The hotel next door wouldn't allow our dog in so we were glad Jinty's food van was open and his food is great too. The Spar was also very useful. The site could do with more shelves in the shower area, or benches to put clothes on while changing. The midges were a real problem though and meant it was impossible to sit outside. Perhaps investing in some of the outdoor lamps they use abroad to attract them and kill them off. We had taken Smidge, Avon products and taken garlic capsules for a week before but still ended up with almost 50 bites. Its a good site but perhaps don't take your dog and don't go in summer. There was nothing for children to do either.

Fantastic campsite
