Camping at Cardewlees is set on a small farm with stunning views of the fells, 15 minutes from the Lake District and Carlisle. Both dog and family friendly, there are spacious grass pitches for tents and tourers, along with the option of electric or fully serviced. For glampers, there are pods set in their own enclosed gardens, ideal for four-legged friends, along with a bell tent with hot tub. Fire pits are allowed for nights under the stars!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced All Weather PitchesFeb 2024

This location was great for us, splitting our journey from Kent to Scotland! The family that runs this site are fantastic and ever so helpful! The best thing is that this site is open all year round! Our experience was so good we already made a second booking for the return journey! Thank you for being a great caravan site and look forward to our next stay!

Camping Pod - Large Camping Pod (Dog Friendly)Jan 2024

Lovely Winter break with our puppy and 12 year old daughter. Fab location, not far from Carlisle. Stunning views. Excellent facilities in the pod and it was spotless. Toilets etc were very clean. Nice and easy booking from start to finish. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Fully Serviced All Weather PitchesDec 2023

Quick break to test out our motorhome. Cumbrian weather didn't disappoint. Friendly welcome upon arrival, will look to book again later in the year (when weather is kinder).

I was there in the snow storm and everybody was very helpful. Everything was frozen due to weather but still loads of fun.
