Beautiful views
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2025 This is a beautiful campsite with beautiful views. A short drive to Bakewell and Matlock.
Small shop and lovely toilets and showers. The only negative (but this is small and didn't affect the stay) is that it is on a hill, so there is a slope and we found it hard to level up the van.
Would 100% recommend and the value for money is excellent.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Sep 2025 We absolutely loved staying at Barn Farm. Location and views are terrific, the atmosphere around the site was lovely, the facilities were excellent, spotless and well maintained and the owners were so friendly and helpful.
We had glorious sunshine which helped and were lucky to camp on a flat area. We hope to return next season for more adventures. Thank you.
Camping weekend
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Sep 2025 Good site with clean toilets and showers. Great views and good food and drink nearby.
Pity there was another event on at same time, which started at 6 am on Sunday, even though it was a charity event.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2025 The site is in an excellent location with beautiful views and facilities.
Some caravan pitches can be slightly uneven but plenty to chose from.
2 local pubs to walk to and many walks surround the site.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2025 Ruby is my 1972 VW bay window van. Barn farm facilitated both us fabulously and I will be going back again.
Spectacular views, walks and friendly atmosphere!
Lovely place
Small Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2025 Lovely place, great facilities. Need to be more clear, suggested food truck was open in the summer holidays, which was the main reason I booked the place. It was closed understandably, as was quiet but was a let down.
Info sheet they hand out also need updating as it stated there was hot drinks and soup in the vending machine in the laundry room, which it did not.
Shop was always closed.
Fantastic site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2025 Fantastic site, great location and beautiful setting. The site has absolutely everything you can think of (and more, including an outside air bed plug!), plenty of showers and toilets, fridges, freezers, vending machines and a shop.
Alpacas, peacocks, cows and a few dogs running about on site which was lovely, 5 minute walk into the village and a few walks from the site itself. Would definitely return!
2 days camp
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2025 Absolutely loved our stay. The sites were spacious and well-maintained, offering plenty of privacy and shade. The facilities were clean (modern restrooms and hot showers are a huge plus!), and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect, with easy access to beautiful hiking trails. It was the perfect blend of relaxing in nature and having enough amenities to be comfortable. We can't wait to come back next season!
Highly recommend for both tents and RVs!
Absolutely amazing
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2025 We have just arrived back from a 2 day bank holiday weekend of camping. This is our second attempt at camping, so you could say we are very fresh beginners. Absolutely amazed by everything at Barn Farm. We picked a really good weekend to go with all the music and fun festivities, which we were unaware were going to going on when we booked. Super pleased as a family of 5, our kids loved it. We will be coming next year on the same weekend.
Only down side was the kids play area is quite wobbly, we noticed when the kids were swinging. It's definitely full of wear and tear, but that means it's been used lots so that's good.
Overall we had an amazing time and we will be back, with friends and family. We will be fully recommending you to all we know.
Amazing site for families

Brilliant campsite, lovely place
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2025 Family stay with young children for the bank holiday festival - absolutely brilliant campsite and a very well organised and fun weekend.
Facilities for a campsite are just amazing, as are the staff. The place is gorgeous and so well serviced we actually couldn't believe it. We will definitely definitely be returning in the near future - thank you so much.
There was only one criticism in our group the whole weekend, and that was the very strange, and very unpleasant smell in the main toilet block throughout our stay, which was a shame because the staff worked tirelessly to keep them pristine.
Also (our fault because we were told it was cash only and forgot) but cashback or cash point on site would be so useful as the closest one is literally miles away and we definitely would have spent far more if we had cash with us, mainly at the festival but also in the games room.

Fantastic site for families
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2025 Fabulous little campsite for families. It was well kept, had lots of space and nice facilities.
The peacocks wandering round and the little play park made it extra special! There was some great entertainment during bank holiday weekend. My only complaint would be that the music started late 8-10:30, and kept my baby awake so I would suggest it started from 5 or 6pm instead, so more families could enjoy.
Also, we didn't realise we had to pre-book pizza, so couldn't get any.
Amazing weekend
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2025 Excellent stay, been here a few times, but never on August bank holiday. It was very busy, as expected, but the site was ran and looked after really well. Toilets and showers clean at all times and staff so friendly, if you wanted to find a quieter spot it was possible. A brilliant little festival on too, which I think is on every year. Highly recommended.
