About the site
A peaceful space on the coast, this glamping site is ideally suited for those who love the great outdoors and want to be at one with nature. It holds onto a warm, family friendly atmosphere and also welcomes dogs as part of that family. If you bring a four-legged friend with you, there's a beautiful beach beside the site where you can walk for miles and tire the dog out before settling down for the evening. Onsite there are a total of 30 wooden cabins, including two ensuite cabins with a TV. Most of these sleep up to five people, and there are four that can comfortably sleep three. There are three fully accessible cabins which are wheelchair friendly, and they have a mini kitchen and a wet room for showering. All of the cabins have electricity in them, as well as a fridge, kettle and panel heater. They have a bench type seating area with thick foam mattresses, and this easily converts into a wall to wall sleeping area. Note that guests must bring their own bedding and towels. For something a little more luxurious, try The Grand Canyon deluxe ensuite cabin, with its own kitchen and private shower facilities, ideal for those who like their own space and prefer not to share facilities. There's even a small patio and chairs so that you can admire the incredible views while you eat breakfast, and early risers can watch the sunrise. This cabin has the best views of the site, looking over to the lighthouse at Berwick upon Tweed and the Tweed estuary. There are also three BBQ huts on site, perfect for groups, families and friends. With a charcoal BBQ in the centre and seating area around, it's perfect to cook your meal and then sit with a drink or two together. Campfires can be arranged, too, so you can sit outside and look up at the stars while toasting marshmallows. Please note that guests must bring their own bedding, towels and toiletries, washing-up supplies (bowl, sponge and washing-up liquid) with them. Pots, pans and utensils are provided in the fully equipped communal kitchen.
Open from 14 February to 31 December.
