Set in the delightful Suffolk countryside with easy access to the coast, The Croft Campsite is a small family run campsite located halfway between Framlingham and Halesworth. Welcoming tents and tourers on grass pitches, along with a cosy pod and canvas tent for glampers. It is the ideal location for a family holiday with friendly owners, good facilities, a playground, play barn and an indoor area with picnic tables for communal dining!

A great campsite. Lovely, spacious, flat pitches. Mostly tents with families, which we liked. Great idea to hire out firepits and also to have the communal BBQ, which was good value. Only small downside was that there was not really enough showers, so at busy times, there was a bit of a queue. A really well organised site, without feeling regimented.

We were really impressed with this campsite. The pitches are of good size so that you are not on top of your neighbours, the toilet and shower facilities were always spotlessly clean. It's a great site for children and is situated in the countryside, but near enough to Laxfield for the Co-op and 2 pubs. We will certainly return in the future.

We stayed 3 nights. Toilets and showers were very modern and spotlessly clean. Very child friendly - grandson loved the go carts, table tennis and table football. Large field for games. Arrival to the site doesn't reflect the standard of the campsite itself. Waste bins, trailers etc. are your first views. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

One of the best campsites around, and we've tried a few, we love it so much we've kept returning over the last ten years and have yet to find its match. We're a mixed group of friends - two families with young kids, one with a dog, and a couple. All our needs and interests are well catered for: optional fire pits, excellent frequently cleaned showers/toilets and kitchen blocks, a barn open to one side able to accommodate all guests for an optional fun Friday BBQ cooked by the owners, where there are several large fridge-freezers, plus another barn with various games and go-karts etc and an outside playground area for kids to enjoy. Pitches are well-spaced apart in several small fields, groups are able to book pitches next to one another, providing a safe, private yet spacious and friendly atmosphere. Fab location, lots of nearby villages with pubs, about half an hour drive from Southwold and the coast. The owners have continued to make improvements year on year and really couldn't do more to make it a special and wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Beautiful site in a lovely, quiet and accessible location. The toilet and shower facilities were first class, very clean and warm. This was our first camping trip of the season and it could not have been any better. For us, the grass pitches were dry and well tended. We do not use our vehicle when camping so it is important for us to have places to visit within cycling distance. The Croft has Laxfield nearby with great Pubs and Guildhall museum. Lovely rides through quiet lanes.

Easy to find quiet location. Owners very friendly and down to earth. Clean facilities and seperate family shower toilet room. The bbq is a welcome break from cooking and the crossiants for breakfast all great Value. Free tea and coffee to welcome you. Will come again for their September festival

This is second time we've stayed at The Croft and we will definitely return. It's immaculately kept with good clean facilities, a small communal fridge space, and is very safe for the kids. There are nice pines and farm shops just a short drive away. A very happy and relaxing stay.

Luckily we found this little gem on our first visit to Suffolk.The welcome and service we received was outstanding.The site is well laid out and absolutely spotless.Toilets and showers are immaculate.Guy and Maria couldn't do enough for you. We have booked for next year already.

A fabulous weekend, we are not even home yet but I just had to leave a review. Maria and Guy are so friendly. Everything is so well thought out and well kept. The bathroom facilities are immaculate and so cosy. The park, play barn and go karts kept our little lady busy, as did the Hartley hare hunt - that may have been me! The Friday evening barbecue, Sunday morning breakfast baps and fresh pastries were very welcome. We would highly recommend this as a family campsite.
