First getaway of the year

Lovely little site with hardstanding pitches, within walking distance to Cemaes Bay & Anglesey coastal path. The site is in the grounds of a hotel which serves food, we had a Sunday lunch which was extremely good & also good value. There's a kids play area also.
The only negative was the bathroom facilities, no heating, so freezing at this time of year & only 1 ladies & 1 gents shower. Wasn't a problem for us, as the site wasn't full, but I expect in the summer there are probably queues. I would probably use this site again early or late season only due to the shower facilities.

We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the location, the hardstanding pitches, the easy walking access to Cemaes Bay and the Anglesey Coastal Path, the children's play area, and especially the Sunday lunch at the hotel – it's great to know it was both delicious and good value.
We truly appreciate your honest feedback, including on the shower and bathroom facilities. We understand that the lack of heating felt chilly in early season, and that the single ladies' and gents' shower could lead to queues during busier periods. As the site is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), we faced strict planning restrictions that limited what we could build. To comply, we opted for high-quality portable cabin facilities, which we believe meet – and in many ways exceed – the requirements set out in the Model Standards 1983 for touring sites, particularly given our small site size.
In addition to the dedicated touring park facilities, guests are welcome to use the additional male and female toilets in the hotel reception, a large accessible toilet in the bar area, and substantial male and female toilets within the hotel bar itself – all available at any time.
It's encouraging to read that you'd consider returning during early or late season, and we value your positive comments on several aspects of your stay. That said, we're a little surprised by the overall 3.6 rating, especially given your kind words and willingness to return. For clarity, could you let us know why we received 4 stars for cleanliness (we strive for the highest standards) and only 3 stars for value for money, standard of service, and facilities? Understanding this would help us improve further.

Nice site, small toilet/shower block with just one shower. Nice and clean though. Pitches are small but plenty big enough for our caravan.
On site restaurant serves brilliant food - pricey but good. Friendly attentive staff.
Very short, easy walk to the beach from the site, would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay at this site. I had had a particularly stressful week and turning up her to such a lovely welcome from the staff, particularly the receptionist, was a blessing.
She pointed out where to go and was on hand for other information if required. You are literally 10-15 mins from the beach and town, lovely walk. I would definitely go back.
