Beautiful and handy location

Loved the outdoor showers. Great location for walking and biking. Friendly lady on the phone. Loads of space for camping. I was there for National Cycling Championships and it was perfect.

Overall good, remote, peaceful site

We understood no bins were on the location, but ourselves and many others did comment that a bin of some description should be provided whether wheelie or commercial, as it dosent take long for seagulls and magpies to patrol the field. It's ok taking rubbish to place in outer bins when going off for the day, but when you're on holiday and hitting the beach, it's not ideal to carry bags each day and locating a bin on your travels. Taking home rubbish as suggested isn't ideal when you're on holiday. When we enquired to the owner just to make sure there wasn't a bin, we got a reply to take it home, is that a problem? Maybe not a big thing to some but on a holiday for a few days, cooking etc, it dosent take long to build up waste, but specially with children. Other than that the provision of heavy duty stoves in the kitchen area was a godsend at times. Toilets generally clean, was expecting portaloos, to find they were static was even better. We do many campsites, so have been to less provisions and better. Overall good campsite, quiet! Generous sized pitches, ideally waste provisions would be more hygienic. Would consider again.

Convenient to Aberystwyth

Convenient to Aberystwyth about 1.5 miles. Quiet grass pitch, firm after rain. Showers and loos clean. Can get to Aberystwyth by going down Clarach Bay and walking over hill. Signage to site could be larger, but we found it!

Pure nature

Pure nature campsite on green meadows, ideal location for exploring and hiking tours.

Great campsite! Clean toilets and showers and space to wash up dishes. Lovely friendly people!

Brilliant place!

Lovely stay, friendly owners, quiet and comfortable. Clean facilities. My first time camping with my five kids aged 17,13,11,7&3 and I will be back again. Lots of space for the kids and dogs to roam around. Owners even offered to tow us off the field after a night of bad rain!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely stay

Myself & my partner are just back from a lovely stay. The campsite was quirky and really well maintained, we really liked that you could drive the cars in/park beside your tent so no numerous trips to and from the car to get bits. The showers were amazing, so warm and proper showers too. This is not a criticism but more of a recommendation (as I had blisters on my feet from sandals), the shower area has small rocks so make sure to wear flip-flops as I was hobbling around! All-in-all a lovely campsite and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Beautiful site

Idyllic location, a peaceful and relaxing stay. Left to our devices which we really appreciated. Not too keen on the portaloos, but was fine for a 1-night stay. Would recommend to others and would stay again, if visiting the area in the future.

Great location

Great location, nice and clean.

Lovely campsite, simple and clean

The big field was 15 minutes walk from a beach. We were there in late August and it was almost empty, but we gather it was busy earlier. Friendly owners and had everything we needed i.e. toilets, showers water and space. Also incredibly clean.

Perfect camping weekend

We stayed for two nights, Friday to Sunday over the August Bank Holiday weekend and we had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Nantcellan Barns. The campsite is spread over two large fields, with plenty of space around the edges. Even at full capacity, the site does not feel crowded or noisy. The surroundings are beautiful, and the sea is a fifteen minute walk away. We particularly enjoyed the coastal footpath from Clarach Bay, along which we found a deserted beach.The facilities at the campsite were perfectly suitable for a back-to-basics camping stay. Fully functional and regularly cleaned portaloos, with toilet roll and hand sanitiser provided. The open-topped hot shower was amazing. We would have liked to have rented a fire pit on our second day, but unfortunately there were none left. So if you don't have your own, rent one as soon as you arrive - they are of limited supply and go fast! We really enjoyed lying out underneath the stars in the evening. We could clearly see the Milky Way, as well as a few shooting stars. We had a magical time, and we will be visiting again without question.

Great little break away

This park is very simple, but effective. It was quiet and this is just what we wanted. The people have not owned it long. Will go back in a few years to see how the place has evolved.

Gorgeous

Absolutely beautiful location! We had an amazing time camping here - such a lovely spot, so near to the beach and other places to visit too. The showers were amazing, the portaloos less so, but I think we were there on a particularly busy weekend. I just wish it had been clear that we could have camped in some of the other fields as we weren't sure and so ended up next to some quite noisy people! Really enjoyed our stay though.

Excellent weekend

We had an excellent stay. The owners were super friendly and helpful throughout the weekend With our bell tent there some things provided such as foam mattress (we put on top of our air mattress as was a littke thin), kitchen items, 2 outdoor chairs and small bin. I think the kitchen items could have been a little better as it was odd things and only enough for 2 people. However we had brought our own stuff so wasn't an issue. There was a portaloo that was just for the bell tents which was good. When the hot water was sorted the showers were very lovely. The location was great. Not far from sightseeing places. Plus just a 20 minute walk to the beach. We absolutely loved our stay and we can't wait to return again.

Perfect site and location

Fantastic stop over for the price. Unfortunately, no electricity. However, this will not put me off staying again. Showers and washing facilities are great. Peaceful and quiet with stunning surroundings.

Nice camping site

It has been long since I camped last time. We enjoyed our stay and facilities of the site were easy accessible. Our stay was lovely and I would recommend this to others.
