Relaxing & friendly

Brilliant campsite. Friendly people. Even the dogs are friendly! We have been going for over 10 years.

Simple site with all the basics

Great location, near local attractions and supermarkets. Field was well maintained and spacious and toilets and showers were clean and well stocked. Would have preferred to have been able to hire a fire pit instead of doing it on the grass (really didn't seem safe!). Only issues were the large group bookings who were very loud until early morning and allowed their kids to ride a noisy petrol bike relentlessly around the site, getting dangerously close to tents and dogs! Even caught one of them peeing up a random neighbours tent! Not the site's fault but maybe a few more patrols would be better to stop this as it did disturb the peace and could not relax at the site during the day. Overall, good site and would recommend and return.

Beautiful, peaceful campsite

Lovely campsite, the lady running it (sorry didn't get her name) worked really hard, facilities were spotless, great location. Small shop on site selling the basics, but more importantly, selling logs for campfires. Short drive to Hastings & shops nearby, would definitely recommend :)

Really good site, and very helpful staff!

Went for a small getaway with friends and was really impressed with everything, the location was amazing and out of the way so nice and quiet. Staff were incredible, we did get slightly lost on the way there, but spoke to the owner who was really helpful and informative. It was really good value for money, can't wait to go next year!

Quiet and clean site

Great location for exploring East Sussex and South East Kent. Site and facilities were spotlessly clean with a large, communal fridge available. During my visit the site was very quiet, so no problem to access toilets and showers (with plenty of hot water) despite only being three available in the ladies area.

1066 stop over

Lovely site in a great location. Very quiet. Very clean facilities. We stayed for one night as we were walking the 1066 path and it's perfectly located for a midway stop over..

Brilliant night away from it all

Lovely site, easy to arrange and excellent value for money. Ended up paying on day for extra person and tent. Only thing which would have been handy would have been fire pit hire and maybe some straw bale hire. Did not affect stay, it was spot on.

Good value

Nice little site. Little play area for the young children. Picnic tables and little shop. Could definitely benefit from another toilet block as there's only 3 and queues for showers even though the site was far from full. Staff friendly, site clean.

Nice relaxed vibe and a great location

Enjoyed two nights here in my first outing in the campervan. The ground were nice and spacious. The staff were helpful and chill. Facilities did everything they should, whilst being clean and functional. And the location is great - 5 miles from Hastings, and a 2 miles from the supermarkets. Would deffo stay again!

Lovely camping site

We enjoyed a calming relaxing atmosphere on the site. Good and clean facilities. Can recommend definitely.

Basic but nice

Really enjoyed our stay here, electric hook up would make this site just that little bit more special.

Nice and quiet

Nice, quiet site. Facilities are very clean and there is even a play area for kids. Aside from the massive field to run around!

Lovely, peaceful setting

We had a fabulous night in one of the pods. Friendly welcome when we arrived, spotless pod. Great kids play area. Just brilliant. We will be back! Thank you 🤩

Very clean site

Very clean and tidy site. Basic, but showers and toilets were very clean, washing up facility and Elsan point and of course, fresh water. Could do with a tap by Elsan point.

Family friendly site

My 5 year old and I stayed overnight here on the way to see friends in Margate. The play park was a nice surprise. The site is safe and my son was able to play with other children without me worrying about where he was. We did have to move because a noisy group arrived, but we were even happier after moving. Sone of the other campers were a bit rowdy and I needed ear plugs.

Our stay

Very clean and tidy site. Asked if there was anything we needed on arrival which is good service. Would recommend this site and it is excellent for a base to sightsee from.

Could not be run any better. It was run to a high standard by the two sisters. Very pleased with our stay, thanks.

Solid campsite

Good showers and bathroom. Fridge and freezers available, campfires allowed, and very friendly and helpful staff. Also have a shop that sells essentials and a tuck shop for coffees and food in the morning. Will definitely be going back.

Friendly and simple site just a short drive into Hastings

Really nice site, grab a spot anywhere around the perimeter of a large field, decent toilet/shower block, friendly staff. Also an onsite food wagon. Perfect spot for a chilled, laid back stay.

Great campsite

Excellent campsite, close to Hastings seafront. Very friendly and approachable owner. Toilets & showers were always clean. Firewood available when needed. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely site, spacious pitches and lovely owners

Loved our time here - spacious pitches and all the tents in the large field were really well spaced out. Clean toilet and shower facilities. Helpful staff. On site caravan cafe which looked promising but we didn't need to use. Children and dog friendly! Great location for exploring the area and we spotted a couple of walkable pubs with good reviews, which we'd visit when we come back to this site.

Good site, friendly people

We arrived around 3 pm - a lady checked us in when we arrived. We were happily left to set up camp and had a lovely evening. We left by 10am the next morning. We would stay again.

Great big field, with very clean toilets and showers! Most impressed!

Good location

Ground is very soft so be prepared you might get stuck, but there were helpful staff that were quick to help anyone that was stuck.
