We loved staying at Tollgate Farm. Very welcoming and a lovely spacious pitch for our Bell Tent and van. Facilities were perfect and liced the onsite Pizza van and Coffee caravan. The animals were very entertaining to see along with the wild meadow area making the place feel very natural and calm. Very close to Perranporth beach and walkable. Crantock beach about 15 mins drive away. The onsite shop was well stocked and the communal fridges made storing milk easy being in a tent. We all came away feeling very humble and relaxed. We will certainly be returning soon. Many thanks.

great place

such a lovely place. we arrived late in the evening so reception was shut but the wardens on site were very welcoming and told us to pay in the morning. the site facilities were spotless. they are extremely welcoming of dogs and we have 3 very large sighthounds. the wildlife was amazing, so many rabbits on site. we didn't explore the farm but looked great from the road. easy access from campsite to perranporth town. the coffee van and pizza place on site was also very lovely! will definitely be coming back - Thankyou!

Perfect! Quiet, clean, noice

Stayed here for one night as a quick getaway, absolutely chucked it down but the warden was so lovely and she made sure we were okay, even though she was getting soaked! Very peaceful, calm campsite that I’d definitely come back to! Mixed age ranges and massive playing fields for kids. Beautiful!

Great location, easy booking, and excellent facilities.

We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone. The pitches were ideal for both tents and vans—flat, well‑maintained, and it felt like every pitch had an electric hookup. The grounds were clearly very well cared for, with neatly kept grass throughout. The shower and toilet facilities were particularly impressive—the cleanest I’ve ever seen, which is saying something! The hot water was properly hot (not just lukewarm), which made a big difference. On top of that, all the onsite staff were friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. Highly recommended—would stay again without hesitation.

Weekend away

Everything was just right, everywhere was clean and the staff were polite.

Perfect

First time staying at this site. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Site location was excellent. 15 min walk into Perranporth/5min drive. 20 min drive from Newquay & 40 min drive to St Ives, so location was excellent. Facilities were very clean & well maintained. We tried both the pizza van & fish’n’chip van & both were excellent value for money & food was lovely. Showers were hot which is always a bonus. Pitch was a good size. Excellent site & definitely good value for money. Definitely would visit again.

Lovely Campsite

This was a lovely campsite. Very clean and well kept. Great amenities, very clean, warm showers, dryer and phone charging available. A great little shop that sells everything. visiting food trucks. play area and animal area with bowls, bowling etc. The area itself is a great location for surfing and beaches. I love the campsites eco friendly ethos. xx

Beautiful campsite

We had a wonderful stay at Tollgate Farm! The campsite is situated in a stunning location, with beautiful walks down to Perranporth Beach over the sand dunes. The town is also in walking distance, about 15-20mins. The staff were so warm, welcoming and generous. Would definitely recommend

Excellent stay, spotlessly clean and friendly

Facilities were spotlessly clean and tidy, campsite was quiet and friendly and just outside of perranporth. WiFi available at a very reasonable price. Small shop, too. Spacious playground area with loads of stuff for kids. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful spot for our mini moon

Absolutely beautiful location, we came for a few days after our wedding on the 21st. The fact we were able to bring all 5 of our dogs was a big must for us. The site had everything we needed. Staff were all lovely and the toilets/ showers were beautifully clean. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you for having us.

Perfect campsite for all

Great price for extensive camping facilities. Prime location as there is a lot available near by but they equally have lots on site if you want to have a chilled day in camp.

Brilliant stay

Have no complaints about our stay. Immaculately clean, friendly helpful wardens. Pitches well spaced and also immaculate. Lovely walks with our grandchildren and two dogs.

Wonderful site, accommodating & great location

We booked this last minute on route down from Devon & we were impressed. With a teen & a child there was a fab field with goal & climbing area. Location was great.

Worth the stay

A great all round stay. Please if you want a camping holiday in Perranporth, this site is a must. Easy walk into Perranporth. Loved it, will definitely stay again.

Lovely campsite

Lovely campsite and location and well kept, throughout. Nice touches with the on site farm animals, guinea pigs. and plenty of space for the children to play with others on the site. Would have liked a little more space between the pitches (Willow). Felt a little cramped and on top of each other. Lastly and although we don't like to use screens and Internet. I thought having to pay for Wi-Fi (which was very expensive) was a little unnecessary, with the cost of the camping already.

Thank you for your review we are glad that you enjoyed yourselves and that our site is clean and well maintained. Our Wi-Fi is chargeable but it is only £5 for 3 devices for 24 hours so that works out at £1.66 per device for 24 hours with longer times available to, which we feel is good value. Brilliant!

Beautifully clean, the site is organised very well and easy to access the local town and beach. The owner is also very nice and extremely helpful! Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Cornwall.

Very happy campers

Really well looked after camp site! Good facilities, showers were always clean. Lovely Staff that are always on hand for any questions. Has a shop with everything you need! Top notch!

Will definitely be returning

We had such a lovely weekend stay here, amazing views lovely staff that go above and beyond, with very clean facilities. Bagel breakfast should not be missed 🤩 Can't wait to return.
