Fantastic campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) May 2026 Fantastic camp site and fab surroundings. Couldn’t ask for more. Really peaceful but also had create atmosphere. Brilliant walks all around and great for children.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Adult Only) May 2026 Thanks for a great weekend. Great facilities. 20 minute walk into Monyash. Some great trails and hikes to explore. Will definitely be back. Stayed on the adult only pitch, which was nice and chilled and peaceful and far away from the families section.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Adult Only) May 2026 We've just spent 3 days in this campsite - I was a bit worried that it would be busy and that we'll be on top of each other, but the owners managed it very well by not overbooking and letting people pitch wherever they want (asking people to leave 6m between others). We really appreciated the "Adult only" area as it was quiet and peaceful. The views from our site was lovely with sheep and lambs in the distance. Also conveniently located between Buxton and Bakewell so it was fairly easy to move around and go on lovely walks. Would definitely recommend!

Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) May 2026 Our first outing in our roof tent was met by the fantastic site at Knotlow. They were friendly and the facilities were good.
The addition of some food was also very much appreciated.
Camping with Pizza!! Yum!
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Adult Only) May 2026 Excellent campsite!! We had pizzas one evening and they were delicious and super affordable, proper wood fired taste :)). All the facilities were clean and lots of toilets/ showers to use. We stayed at the adults only site which was nice as we had some space from the families also staying.
Great stay at Knotlow farm
Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) May 2026 we camped during a rather wet weekend which we thought would put a downer on our trip. However the site itself was brilliant and had all you needed pretty close. Everyone was helpful and kind whenever you needed something (even when your car won’t start so they come and jumpstart you with a tractor). Thank you everyone
Great campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) May 2026 Really enjoyed our stay at Knotlow Farm. Vert nice owners. We were lucky and had one of the fields to ourselves. Everything was clean and tidy. The shower block was spotless and well organised. Lovely pub you can walk to from the campsite where the food is lovely. Would definitely recommend if you want somewhere quiet to get away from it all.

Lovely site, unfortunately not as peaceful as advertised
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) Sep 2025 Site was lovely and clean. Took us a while to find it, but a lovely local couple took us there. Our fault we took the wrong turn in Buxton. Recycling was a bonus, been on sites when I've had to take it home with me!
The hand made pizzas were amazing and a great option. Lots more available in the shop, always useful.
Ate at the Royal Oak in Hurdlow which was great. Good service and my husband said the best game pie ever.
Only downside was the two tents that were pitched next to us and both families were very noisy. The site says they have a no noise policy from 10pm to 7am. We were woken by the noise at 7am and the noisy groups were making a dog bark constantly. It was lovely and peaceful once they left.

Lovely campsite

Toilets and facilities were clean and well maintained. The people on reception were friendly and really helpful. There's a small shop on site with a good range of essentials available.
The site was lovely and quiet with scenic views and plenty of places to walk and explore. The site is a bit hilly in places but it's to be expected with its location.
Fantastic experience and will definitely return!

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) Sep 2025 We had a fantastic stay at Knotlow Farm. The facilities were spotless, pitch was spacious and peaceful, and the view was beautiful.
Staff were very helpful and the breakfast and firepit prices were very reasonable.
Easy to find the campsite and it's in a great location, we will definitely be returning!

Beautiful location with stunning views
Glamping Pod - Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs (Adult Only) Sep 2025 Bought the stay away as a gift for our daughter-in-law's birthday.
She said the location was beautiful and the glamping pod was clean and well stocked with pots and pans etc. The hot tub was an added bonus.
The kind lady even left a bottle of plonk (which I had requested and paid for!).

Not very many walking routes but great for a chill camp.
Clean separated bathrooms + a family wash room. Vending machine for snacks and hot/cold drinks. Mini shop at reception.
Facilities also has a brochures wall of things to do in the wider area. Fab place!

Lovely owners, very obliging and helpful, immaculate site, ideal base for exploring and walking the beautiful Peaks.
Very clean facilities maintained day and night. The best Stromboli pizza too! Thank you Knotlow Farm.
